“Little Wittians Celebrates Janmashtmi in WIS Udaipur”

Janmashtmi, the birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated across different parts of India and the world with fun and fervor. The merry making is marked by colorful cultural programmes and pooja. The same was done by the little wittians of the Pre Primary section who celebrated Janmashtmi with full zeal & enthusiasm. They came dressed in beautiful traditional clothes as Krishna and Radha. On this day, the school stage was decorated with pots and flutes. Each and every child of the Pre Primary participated in the celebration by dancing on various Ras Leela songs. The tempo rose high giving a befitting end to the programme by the breaking of Dahi Handi and with the echoes of “Haathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanyalal Ki” overall the celebration was a grand success and was enjoyed by everyone.

Janmashtami Celebration Sr. Kg. (2012-2013)

The birth of Lord Krishna is celebrated as Janmashtami. Dahi handi is a popular ceremony celebrated during Janmashtami. Boys and girls of Sr.Kg dressed up as little Krishna and Gopi's  respectively.The children were taken  to the ground where they witnessed Dahi  handi.

A movie on Lord Krishna's birth was shown. Children enjoyed celebrating the festival in their special way.

Brown Day Nursery (2012-2013)

Brown Day

Brown is a secondary colour. Brown colour was introduced on Wednesday, 25th July 2012.The class was decorated with various brown colour objects.

Children as well as teachers came dressed in brown colour clothes. Children were shown different brown colour objects. Two primary colours red and green were mixed to form the new magical colour that is brown colour.  Children were excited and actively participated in the activity done in the book.

Teacher discussed the colour of the snacks brought by the children in their tiffin.
