Field Trip to Church at WIS, Udaipur


Tuesday, 23rd December 2014 will be marked as a learning day for the students of Pre- Primary. Children were taken to Lady Fatima Church for the holy experience, where they were told about the God Jesus and Mother Mary and their contribution to the mankind. They were also told about Santa Claus and the stories related to it. Overall, it was a great holistic experience for them and they enjoyed the trip.







National Consumer Right Day observed at WIS, Bhilwara





National Consumer Day is observed every year on 24th December. The day reminds us of the fact that protecting consumers’ interest is one of the most important activities for the Government and helps in ensuring accountability and efficiency for both the Government as well as the corporate sector.
The following activities were organized among the students around the National Consumer Day:
i) Speech highlighting the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
ii) A skit highlighting the relevance of Consumer Protection.

iii) A Pledge taken by the students to be a vigilant and aware consumer.

Visit to Bird and Wildlife Photography Exhibition at WIS, Udaipur


The young Wittians enjoyed an enriching experience when they got an opportunity to study about variety of beautiful birds, their species and how to conserve them. The students of Grade 6 and 7 participated in a Bird and Wildlife Photography Exhibition and Fair at Jungle Safari Park, organised by the Forest and Tourism Department, Udaipur.
The enthusiastic students participated in the quiz and drawing competition held by the department. Wittians were extremely fascinated by the sight of colourful birds they got to see through the binoculars and enjoyed a live experience of watching the birds and their flight.










Field Trip to Haldighati at WIS, Udaipur

Witty International School truly believes in the above quote. Keeping this in mind a Field Trip was organized for the students of Grade 3 and 4 to provide students with experiences beyond their everyday activities. The young Wittians were taken to Haldighati museum, situated in the Aravali Range of Rajasthan.
Students were told about the historical significance of the place as the Battle of Haldighati took place between Rana Pratap Singh of Mewar and Raja Man Singh of Amber, general of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. They also came to know about various rose products and the clay art of Molela.

Students enjoyed this fascinating experience which was a blend of excitement and knowledge.

Rhyme and Story Enactment at WIS, Udaipur


“All good poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: it takes its origin from emotions recollected in tranquility.”

Stories and poems fascinate children the most. Reciting rhymes, narrating and enacting stories have a positive influence on children. It helps in mental development and imbibing this art is great for learning. On December 19th 2014, Wittians of Sr.KG enthusiastically participated in Rhyme and Story Enactment. They recited and narrated various rhymes and stories respectively. The rhymes had different characters, funny rhyming words, interesting narrations and tunes that made little ones clap and nod.



Poem Recitation at WIS, Udaipur


“Poetry is to the heart, what music is to the soul”, was the motive behind the Poem Recitation Activity of the little Wittians of Nursery and Jr.KG. On Friday, 19th December, 2014 the students of Nursery and Jr.KG got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence through Poem Recitation. They created the magic on podium by reciting their favourite rhymes using props. They came dressed in the costume and were very much in the character to maintain the originality of their favourite rhymes.Overall, it was an activity which they will cherish for a long time.

Christmas Celebration Pre-primary Section (2014-15)WIS, Malad



Christmas Festival is primarily a celebration of God's love towards mankind.

WIS celebrated the festival of Christmas on 19th, December, 2014 in school  with great zeal and enthusiasm. Children came dressed in party wear.Santa Claus came in with his bag of gifts and goodies which were distributed to all the children. Christmas tree was decorated with cotton snow flakes, bells, colored balls, candy canes  which added glamour to the whole celebration. Teacher Trainees organized games for Pre- Primary section. Children enjoyed the day.




Shape Parade Day in Nursery (2014-15) at Witty World

Today, on 19th December 2014, little wittians from the nursery class had a very interesting "shape parade day". They brought different shaped toys and showed it to everyone . The teachers and the children then discussed about the shapes and their sides. Teacher then introduced the Opal the oval shape and objects by using story flashcards  and  objects. Children did dabbing on the Oval shape worksheet. Children were encouraged to think creatively and identify objects and figures that had an oval shape.
