Dramatization at the Beach (Nursery) on 28.01.2015, WKSN, Bhilwara


The little ones of Nursery at Witty Kids Bhilwara marched on with their sunglasses, hats and umbrellas towards beach on January 28' 2015. Children were filled with joy and enjoyed a lot at the beach scene created for them. Children played in sand to make castle and homes. They came to know what all we do at the beach. They recognized various Marine animals that are found in sea. It was a wonderful experience watching these little kids enjoying at the beach and relaxing on the benches and enjoying at the beach.

Story Enactment (Goldilocks and the three bears, PG) on 28.01.2015, WIS, Bhilwara


The sparkling stars of Playgroup did the story enactment of "Goldilocks and the three bears" with great zeal.A few kids came dressed as the characters of the story and dramatised it. The tiny tots learnt the opposites such as big*small, hard*soft and hot *cold. This was a fun learning experience for the kids.

Dramatization at the Beach (Nursery) on 28.01.2015, WIS, Bhilwara


The toddlers of Nursery did the dramatization of at the beach with a lot of exciting activities.The little wittians learnt that  beach is a pebbly or sandy shore where we go with  hat , sunglasses and umbrella. They enjoyed the sand play. This was a fun learning experience for kids. 





Workshop on Self Observation was conducted for Grade 6 Secondary Section (2014-15) WIS, Malad.

A workshop on Self Observation   was conducted by Motivational Speaker Mrs. Sujata Singi from NIE Times.  Students of Grade 6  participated enthusiastically in the workshop.
 It was an interactive session; students learnt about self confidence, never to give up, face your weaknesses,  how to create your own pathway, nothing is impossible in life and tips were provided for the same.
 One needs to accept him or herself the way he/she is. A motivational speech was given to the students and  they were asked to write the qualities they have in them other than studies what they are best in.
The most important tip given was to have a positive attitude towards life and be confident enough. A video  and a diagram was shown to motivate the students to achieve their goals.

REPORT FOR REPUBLIC DAY 2015


The 66th Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Witty International School, Ramchandra Lane on 26th January 2015.  The celebrations started with the flag hoisting ceremony followed by a welcome speech by head boy. The entire school courtyard reverberated with the rhythmic beats of the patriotic songs medley performed by students. The flavour of the Hindi speech was to encourage students to be more patriotic and realise their duties towards our country. The next event that followed was the English play based on national integration. Marathi speech after the play urged the younger generation to be more aware of the situation of our country. A dance program was organised which received excited cheers from students and teachers. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by head girl.

Everyday many people are involved in road accidents. Some are killed. Many more are injured or maimed. So it  is important for us to learn to use the roads properly and safely. No sane person would like to be involved in an accident. An enlightening informative session  on  “Traffic  Rules and Regulations ” was conducted at Witty International School on Friday 23rd January 2015 .Witty International School has always tried to create awareness of various topics through  workshops and seminars to guide the  students.
The growing number of  accidents in the city is a severe concern .  Witty International  School invited the experts from the  traffic police department to conduct a workshop on the  importance of obeying traffic rules. Experts explained various traffic rules and regulations during the seminar. They apprised the students of the road safety norms and also warned them that any negligence on road may cause serious road mishap. The traffic police have undertaken a drive  to educate people and create an awareness among them about traffic rules. Educating the  youngsters,  so that when they drive, they not only ensure their own safety but also the safety of others on the road was an important topic covered during the session.
One of the police officers enacted the role of Yamaraj, the God of Death.  He emphasised through this act , the agony and the pain that family members face when a dear one meets with an accident. Several videos on safe driving showcasing the importance of wearing helmets and seat belts was also shown to the students. The headmistress of the secondary section , Dr. Sabina Keshwani stated,  ” One may find stunts and driving fast, thrilling and exciting but it can lead to serious fatalities”.

The seminar was concluded by giving away a token of appreciation by the headmistress to the traffic police department. The students thoroughly enjoyed the programme and took a pledge that they would follow the traffic rules and regulations and they would also pass on this vital information to their family and friends.

       THE POWER OF CONCENTRATION



Witty International School Malad (W) had conducted workshop on Concentration Exercise on 27 -1-15 for the students of Grade V which was initiated by NIE Times. The students were taken through an audio-visual exercise to develop their concentration and focus. The students were given some golden rules, for increasing their concentration power. Simple yogic exercise to boost the mental and concentration areas of the brain were practically shown to the students.

"Story Enactment Day" Playgroup section (2014-15) WIS, Malad




On Tuesday, 27 January 2015, "Story Enactment Day" was organised for the children of Playgroup section at Witty International School.  Children came dressed in different characters of 'Red Riding Hood' and 'The Lady Who Swallowed a Fly' story. Children were encouraged to play their characters in which they were dressed. Children were excited and were eagerly waiting for their turn to come. 

   Indeed the stories came alive when children performed on it.
