Rhyme enactment "Humpty Dumpty" by Nursery section (29.08.16)

The sparkling stars of Nursery enacted the rhyme “Humpty Dumpty” on Monday, August 29, 2016 with a lot of excitement. The kids came in characters of soldiers, kings, Humpty Dumpty and horses. Through this activity, kids understood the meaning of rhyme Humpty Dumpty and they also related the ‘H’ sound with Humpty Dumpty. 

Unity in Diversity

Wittians of Grade –III enjoyed an activity based on ‘Celebration of Festivals’. They celebrated Various festivals like Holi, Diwali, Eid, Lohri etc.

Wittians enthusiastically came dressed in beautiful attire, exchange gifts and shared sweets with their Friends. Through this activity, they not only learnt about different traditions and reasons for Celebrating them but also imbibed the values associated with these festivals. Wittians tried to give the Message of Communal Harmony not only to their peers but to the society as a whole!!

 

National Sports Day Celebration at WIS, Udaipur

In the honour of the birth anniversary of Major Dhyan Chand, the Indian Hockey Legend, Wittians celebrated National Sports Day on August 29, 2016

The little champs of Grade-I beautifully represented themselves in the roles of great Indian players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sania Mirza etc.

At last, everyone joyfully tapped their feet on the patriotic song “Chak De India” and were motivated to take keen interest in different sports and represent their country in future Olympics!!

Wittians Dived into the Ocean of Words….

To motivate students to take keen interest in enriching their vocabulary pronunciation skills and to become effective and impressive communicator, WIS organized an Inter-House Spellathon Competition from Grade- III to V on August 30, 2016.

The Competition was divided into eight mind – boggling rounds. Wittians not only learnt new words but also enjoyed the way it was presented on PowerPoint Slides including different rounds like Buzzer Round, Jumble Words and Rapid Fire etc.

Audience was abuzz with excitement, cheering for their respective Houses and also trying to give the answers to the questions which were passed to them!!

Rhyme enactment " Humpty Dumpty" by Nursery Section [ 2016-17 ] at Witty World, Bangur Nagar

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,

Humpty Dumpty had a great fall,

All the kings’ horses and all the kings’ men,

Could not put Humpty Dumpty together again.

On Monday,  29^th August, 2016, children of Nursery section enjoyed  enacting  the rhyme “Humpty Dumpty”. Rhyme enactment is an emotive way of learning where children experience various emotions by playing various characters of a rhyme.

 Designated children came dressed as Humpty Dumpty, the King, a Horse and the King’s men respectively. Children enjoyed both enacting and reciting the rhyme. Making Humpty Dumpty mobiles , gave expression to children’s creativity.

 It was a day full of fun and learning!! Kudos to the parents whose creativity was also on display in the form of child’s costume!!

Blue Day

Blue are the violets,

Blue is the sea,

Blue is the sky,

Blue are the Blueberries.

Little Wittians of Playgroup were introduced to Blue color. They learnt about the majestic color Blue. The students and the teachers both came dressed in Blue attire. The class was decorated with blue color objects .They enjoyed transferring Blue water, Blue color sponge and Balloon dabbing. They were shown Marine life scene and Blue objects. Students  enjoyed learning the color.

An Introduction of Emergency vehicles for Jr.KG and Sr.KG Section WIS, Malad (2016-2017)

An ambulance is a vehicle for transportation of sick or injured people to, from or between places of treatment for an illness or injury. Emergencies come without warning; kids should understand the fundamentals of how Emergency vehicles take care of people when they need help.

To demonstrate the same, on Friday, 26  August, 2016 children were shown an ‘Ambulance’ with all the latest amenities related to health. The children were explained in detail about the uses of different equipment’s and how they help the patient.
