Origami Comp. (Gr I to III) and Poster Making Comp. (Gr IV to VIII) held at WIS, Atun Road,Bhilwara(30.08.17)

In the series of competitions, this Wednesday i.e. on August 30,2017. Origami competition (Grade I to III) and Poster making competition (Grade IV to VIII) was held at Witty International School,Atun Road, Bhilwara. Students of Grade I to III creatively made various articles with coloured sheets and students of Grade IV to VIII presented their views wonderfully on chart sheet for the topics like Save Earth, Global warming, Save trees, Natural disaster etc. The posters were attractive to the eye, readable and creative.

SANSKRIT DIWAS AND NATIONAL SPORTS DAY CELEBRATED AT WIS,ATUN ROAD, BHILWARA (29.08.17)

Students of Witty International School, Atun Road,Bhilwara celebrated two important days on Tuesday, August 29,2017.  Students of Grade VIII presented a beautiful assembly on the occasion of Sanskrit Diwas, they presented a melodious Sanskrit group song, dance, skit etc. to commemorate the importance of the Sanskrit language as Sanskrit is the mother of all Indian language. The idea to celebrate Sanskrit Diwas is a unique one, as this language because of its purity and essential difficulty to be spoken as a common language was slowly dying a natural death. 

After the celebration of Sanskrit Diwas the enthusiastic Wittians of WIS, Atun Road branch as well as WIS, R.C. Vyas branch were all set to celebrate the National Sports day. For one and half hour all the students as well as teachers were out on field to enjoy different sports activities like basketball, football, swimming, dodge ball etc. The celebration of National Sports day marked the tribute to the legendary hockey player of India Dhyan Chand. These celebrations highlighted the fact that along with bookish learning, a student should spend his time on games and sports.

Classical Music Concert of Sabir Khan held at WIS,Atun Road, Bhilwara (24.08.17)

Classical music has been proven to be the music of intelligence. Recent studies have shown that listening to classical music can have lasting effects on one's brain; it can stimulate brain function in developing infants and improve comprehension of math and other computing skills in adults. It trains the brain to acknowledge all the parts that work together to make the whole. We have, in popular culture, begun to associate classical music with a certain class of people: a class of people that is wise, calm and brimming with astonishing intellect.

Hence, to promote Indian classical music Witty International School, Bhilwara organized a Classical music concert of the renowned Indian Classical Sarangi player and singer Sabir Khan on Thursday, August 24, 2017. Sabir Khan is an Indian Sarangi player. He belongs to Sikar Gharana (school) of music who has given several stalwarts to Indian Classical music. Sabir Khan was born in Jodhpur (Raj.). He is the ninth generation to take up Sarangi, after his father the iconic Ustad Sultan Khan.

The melody of his voice kept everyone spellbound. When he played Saare Jahan Se Accha on his sarangi, the audience started singing on the beats of his sarangi. Everyone was mesmerized with his voice when he sang “Albela Sajan aao re”. It was an unforgettable experience for everyone.

Ganesh chaturthi is a Hindu festival celebrated on the birthday of Lord Ganesha. On Friday, August 25, 2017 Witty World celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of fun & fair. Little Wittians came dressed in traditional dresses. Children coloured the worksheet of Lord Ganesha. The importance of eco-friendly Ganpati idols was also discussed with children and made clay Ganpati. Children presented a skit, danced to the tune of Ganesha songs and sang rhymes. Jhanki was decorated. Witty World reverberated with the chants of Ganpati Bappa Morya.

GANPATI CELEBRATION BY PRE-PRIMARY SECTION (2017-18) AT WITTY WORLD, BANGUR NAGAR

Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with great joy and devotion in India. People bring Lord Ganesh Idols and worship them during the festival. Ganesh Chaturthi is considered as the day on which Lord Ganesha comes down on earth to give blessings to his devotees. This festival is celebrated with extreme vigor and enthusiasm especially in Western India, specifically in Maharashtra.

Little Wittians of Pre-primary section celebrated “Ganesh Chaturthi” festival on Wednesday, 24th August 2017.

As a part of the celebration the kids were shown a short movie on Lord Ganeshji explaining the importance of the festival.

The celebration focused on having an eco friendly festival. Teachers used Clay and plaster of Paris to make Ganesh idols. Both were individually immersed in water. Using inquiry based learning children identified which idol took longer to dissolve in water and therefore which would be an eco friendly material.

The spirit and the enthusiasm of the festival was enhanced with the shlokhs and songs of Lord Ganesha.

On Thursday, 24th August, 2017 Witty World celebrated the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of fun and fair. Children enjoyed watching the story of Lord Ganesha. The importance of eco friendly Ganapati idols was also discussed with the children in detail.

Wittians of Grade- XII Humanities and Commerce went for the educational trip to Sankalp Pediatric Rehabilitation Center, a center for children with multiple disabilities. The centre works with children viz. Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Development Delay, Autism and Multiple Disabilities.

Students got ultimate platform to learn and experience about how, “The earlier intervention starts the more effective it is” and how we can educate and support the children with special needs and make them integral part of the society.
