DUSSEHRA CELEBRATION BY PLAYGROUP SECTION AT WITTY WORLD BANGUR NAGAR (2017-18)

India is called as a land of spiritual country. Every festival in India is celebrated in a unique way. Dusshera and Durgapuja are celebrated all over India. This festival symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.

Little Wittians celebrated Dussehra on Friday 29^th September 2017 with great zeal and zest. Students came dressed up in colourful & traditional attire. They learned about the festival from poems and songs. They rocked the floor with dandiya beats and garba rounds.

 A short story related to the festival was shown on the LED to children of Playgroup and Nursery. Children of Jr.KG and Sr.KG exhibited their creativity and drew the picture of Ravana in their scrapbook. Children had fun and enjoyed eating traditional sweets to celebrate this auspicious day.

There was a festive feel in the air, as teachers eagerly welcomed the children who had come dressed in their party best!! Children saw an AV on why Diwali is celebrated and Teachers explained  how the noisy and dangerous crackers affects nature during Diwali. It was Edutainment at its best!!

No party is complete without music and dance, and so the Auditorium at Witty World was witness to joyful singing and dancing by the children and the teachers.
