Rakhi: An Eternal Bond of love!

Relationships are the essence of any festivity and it holds true for any Indian festival. Each occasion brings the family together which calls for a celebration. Raksha Bandhan is a celebration of one such relation - that of a brother and a sister. Raksha Bandhan is a festival which celebrates the bond of love between them.

Raksha Bandhan was celebrated at WIS, Pawan Baug, on 24^th August, 2018 with great zeal and zest in the Rakhi and Greeting Card making activity on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and noblest of all human emotions. Wittians greeted each other by offering sweets. School environment was filled with affection and togetherness.

Field Trip to Hyper City by Nursery Section (2018-19), Witty Kids Pawan Baug.

Field Trip to Home Town at Hyper city

Field trips are not only loads of fun but they can also be very valuable learning experiences for young children. Theme of the month being, MY HOME, children of Nursery Section were taken to Home Town at Hyper city, a multi store furniture showroom, on 30^th August 2018, Thursday. Children were shown the things they use at their home like sofas, dining table, chairs, etc., the basic furniture that they see around them. Children enjoyed a lot.

Square Day (Play Group, Witty Kids Bhilwara) August 29' 2018

I am a square, a lovely square, 

I have four sides; they're all the same. 

I have four corners, four lovely corners, 

I am a square, and that's my name.

Wednesday, August 29, 2018 was an excited and fun filled day as kids of Playgroup of Witty Kids, R.C. Vyas colony, Bhilwara learnt about Square shape. The children were introduced to the shape in a play-way method. Many objects of square shape were kept in all the corners of the class to make the kids surprised and feel excited. Using those objects, the teacher explained that a square has four equal sides and four corners.”  During the lunch, toddlers sat in square shape. The square shaped objects were shown to the children to see its equal sides. During the artistry time, tiny tots enjoyed doing dabbing using square shaped sponge cutout.

Blue Colour Day (Play Group, Witty Kids Bhilwara) August 27, 2018

Blue is for the sky,

And blue is for the sea,

Blue is for water,

The teacher taught me.

The Kids of Wiity Kids, R.C Vyas colony, Bhilwara celebrated Blue Colour Day on Monday, August 27, 2018. It was a pleasant and a cool blue day for the tiny tots.
The significance of blue colour was reiterated through a series of activities.
Excitement and enthusiasm was visible everywhere. The classroom was decorated with blue balloons and children were introduced to different shades of blue.
Clad in blue dresses, little Wittians identified blue colour through different games and play-way activities. An array of blue coloured objects like umbrella, ball, cloud, flowers etc. were at display thus providing the kids opportunities to have a clear sense of the colour and its importance.
Blue Colour Day was an amazing learning experience which had a long lasting effect on each child. It was indeed a visual treat to see the good effects of blue colour on our tiny tots when kiddies enjoyed doing balloon dabbing using Blue Poster colour with the help of teacher.

BABY VISIT at Witty International School, Udaipur

Babies are like little suns

That , in a magical way,

Bring warmth happiness

And light into our lives.

On Thursday, 30^th August, 2018 little Wittians of Nursery at Witty International School, Udaipur were introduced to the concept of “Awareness of Babies”.

Mother and baby were invited to school to share their experience with the little Wittians.

Children saw the baby and understood the difference between an adult and a baby. They learnt that babies are to small and they cannot walk . They cannot eat so mother carries the baby and feeds milk to the baby.

Children were fascinated to see the various baby care products such as diaper, rattles, teether, feeder etc.

Mrs. Nupur Jain very nicely explained about the new born and the care needs to be taken for nurturing the baby. Children enjoyed making baby rattles.

Children enjoyed the baby visit. They fulfilled their curiosity by touching the baby , his accessories and learnt about them.

The square is a geometrical shape that belongs to the quadrilateral family because it has 4 sides.

On Thursday, 30^th August, 2018 little toddlers of Playgroup at Witty International School, Udaipur were introduced to square shape and its usage in our daily life. Class was beautifully decorated with square

Shape cutouts.

Children tried to identify the objects of square shape like chess board , carrom board and square shape

Flash cards in their class.

Children enjoyed square shape sponge dabbing in their worksheet .They also enjoyed eating square shaped snacks brought by them in their tiffin.

It was a fun filled day for them.

Cooking Activity - Fruit Salad Making Activity by Playgroup Section (2018-19), Witty World, Goregaon East

Fruit Salad

5 red apples on the tree,

1 for you and 4 for me!

5 yellow bananas on the tree,

2 for you and 3 for me!

5 purple plums on the tree,

To highlight the importance of having fruits, how it helps us in keeping good health and to reinforce the concept of “Fruits”, a cooking activity of making Fruit Salad was held for the Playgroup children on Wednesday, 29^th August 2018 at Witty World, Goregaon (East). Each child brought one variant of yummy fresh fruit like apples, banana, papaya, watermelon, orange and grapes to make the fruit salad. With the slogan “ Fruit in a day is the Healthy way!”, teachers encouraged children to eat fruits, making them understand that fruits are an essential part of our daily meal. Children sang songs and had a good time while preparing the Fruit salad. It surely was a fruitful learning experience

National Sports Day

‘Winners are not people who never fail, but people who never quit.’

Primary Wittians of Witty International School, Pawan Baug participated in various sports activities with great enthusiasm and zeal to mark the occasion of National Sports Day on Wednesday, 29th August, 2018. Students had fun while indulging in different activities giving a tribute to the 'Wizard of Hockey' - Major Dhyan Chand Singh. They learnt a lot about true sportsmanship and the value of playing games. Students were seen playing with true team spirit and the celebration of National Sports Day echoed in the corridors and fields.
