Field Trip To Madhav Gaushala (Grade VI to IX, 25.04.19)

The students of Grade VI to IX of Witty International School,Atun Road, Bhilwara visited Mahdhav Gaushala on Thursday, April 25,2019, where a large number of cows are given shelter and taken good care. The visit was a unique experience for the students as they got to learn about various varieties of cows. Children were very excited because it was perhaps their first visit to such a place. A guide explained in detail how cows are fed and are taken care of. They also learnt the medicinal uses and benefits of cow dunk and cow urine. They also learned how the injured and sick cows are taken care of. They have also visited the bio gas plant where they learnt the working of this plant. A video related to the working of Gaushala and utility of cows was also shown to the students. After that students were taken to the Krishna Mandir where they took blessings of God.

The teachers also tried to sensitize the children on this important issue. The teachers encouraged them to promise to visit such places with their parents on their special days. The main aim to organize such an educative visit was to make the students learn about the milking animals as well as the benefits of dairy products. This Field Trip was indeed an informative and a great learning experience for the Wittians.

Water Play Activity of Sr.KG at Witty World, Udaipur

On Friday, April 26, 2019 little Wittians of Witty World, Udaipur actively participated in water play activity to beat the heat. Water play is an essential part of pre-school curriculum as it helps in gross motor development and also helps in vocabulary development.

Little angels and handsome boys

attired in colorful swimming costumes and goggles, enjoyed their first pool activity. They had great fun while jumping in the water, splashing water at their friends and playing with floating toys. Truly, it was a fun-filled day.

Students Council Elections at WIS, Udaipur

To fathom the responsibility of oneself as a citizen of the country, one needs to utilize the power to vote. With the motive to develop this sense of responsibility, Witty International School, Udaipur held the Student Council Elections for the selection of prefectorial young leaders. Prudent Wittians of Grades 6-12 underwent scrutinous interviewing, campaigning and selection process. They created their own symbols for the process .Students enthusiastically casted their vote through formal ballot process to choose their nominated representatives sagaciously and judiciously giving them an inkling into the Democratic process of Elections.

Rally on World Earth Day at WIS, Udaipur

"He That Plants trees, Loves Others Beside Himself."

To glorify and reckon the importance of  Mother Earth in our lives Wittians of Grade 6 CBSE and CAIE partook in a rally on World Earth Day imparting the message that our motherland is our nurturer, our fosterer and we need to protect her from the precarious repercussions. The enlightened Wittians proliferated the message that the treasure of our felicity lies in the preservation of the planet. The students delved into the severity of the scenario and vociferously reverberated their thoughts invoking their peers to make the Earth a cleaner and a greener place.

Mother-Daughter Adolescence Programme at WIS, Udaipur

     Adolescent is one of the most important stages of life.

          WIS, Udaipur organised a Mother-Daughter Adolescence Programme and Boys Counselling session which aimed to help young Wittians of Grade VII & VIII to cope better with their emotions, understand problems and physical development.

          The sessions were facilitated by Ms Gangotri Rajput from Procter & Gamble for girls and by Dr Manu Sharma for boys. The main objective of this counselling was to guide young Wittians transitioning into adulthood and to understand mental and physical changes they undergo while transitioning and allow them to grow into healthy and sound-minded adults.

          This encouraged the students to voice their opinions and queries as it helped in instilling confidence in them to express their feelings & emotions freely and provide a rich understanding of the problems and difficulties they face so that they feel safe and good about themselves.

 Summer is the hottest of the four temperate seasons, falling between spring and autumn. Summer is the favorite season of many because of the warm weather, the school vacation, and the endless fun. People really enjoy the warm weather because it's the perfect atmosphere to do outdoor activities, wear lighter clothes, which are  more comfortable.

The children of Sr KG Witty Kids, Bhilwara had the same experience on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 as a show and tell activity was organized for them. They brought their summer related favorite things and spoke a few lines about it. This gave the little ones a platform to develop their speaking skill, confidence and share their views with others.

At Witty World we believe in experiential learning in different ways. What could be better than water play. Water play offers endless enjoyment to both adults and children of all ages.

On Thursday, April 25, 2019, at Witty World, Udaipur, children of Play group and Nursery enthusiastically participated and enjoyed the fun-filled activity of water play. It was a pleasure to watch the tiny tots splashing,  screaming and enjoying their day to the fullest.

Earth Day and World Book Day at WIS, Udaipur

“Mother Earth is the culmination of multiple and diverse energies brought together to create a rich aesthetic experience with the message of harmony and co-existence.”

Students of Grades-1 to 5 of Witty International School, Udaipur presented an assembly on the occasion of Earth Day and World Book Day wherein the belief of conservation along with the love of books was beautifully portrayed through an intriguing skit centring the significance of 4 R’S and its affirmative ramification on  the succeeding generations. It was followed by a sweet rendition dedicated to environment. Added to this beauty was the wonderful story teller’s presence Mrs Radhika Singh who delivered a stimulating and inspiring speech on the importance of book reading. She encouraged Wittians to indulge and explore the pleasures of book reading.
