Ganesh Chaturthi Celebration by Pre-Primary Section at Witty World, Bangur Nagar(2019-2020)

Ganeshji atehai humare bich har saal,

Jinka  roop hai bemisaal,

Saat hote hai unke mushak,

jinke aane se jala rehta hai charo aur deepak,

Haat jod kar karte hai hum unko pranam,

Sab karo milkar Ganpati

Jai jai kar.

  

On Friday, 30th August, 2019, Children of Witty World Goregaon West came traditionally dressed to celebrate   Ganesh Chaturthi with great fevour and enthusiasm !  The school resonated with the auspicious chant of "Ganpati bappa morya" ! Children were engaged in a simple experiment where they immersed ganpati idols made of mud and plaster of Paris and observed which idol dissolved faster . Thus an awareness was created to avoid idols made of plaster of Paris and  celebrating  “Eco - friendly Ganesh chaturthi ” to reduce water pollution.

As part of the celebration a special assembly was conducted by children of Junior KG.
Overall, the plethora of age appropriate activities added to the spirit and enthusiasm of the festival and created an exciting and blissful environment!  

Carpenter visit for Jr. KG section (2019-20),Witty World,Goregaon East

I work with wood

At it, I 'm very good.
     A carpenter is what I am
     I make toys, for girls and boys.
         Hammer and saw, chisels and awls,
     are some tools that I use
     I cut and scrape, to get the right shape,
     and join parts with glue, nails and screw!

As part of their concept for the month - Community Helpers, Jr. KG children of Witty World Goregaon East had a surprise visitor today! It was the Carpenter who decided to pay a visit to the class. The children got a hands on feel of the various tools that a carpenter uses and its purpose. The carpenter showed different types of tools like- hammer, saw, wooden cut outs, fevicol, screw driver. The live demonstration helped them to actually view the tools and understand how each one is used for a different purpose by the carpenter. Children thanked the carpenter and enjoyed a lot.
