‘Parental love is the only love that is truly selfless, unconditional and forgiving’. 

Parents are the child’s first teachers. Their role in a child’s life is irreplaceable, and thus we celebrated Parents Day by honouring those special people in our lives.

Parents’ Day recognizes, uplifts and supports the role of parents in the rearing of children. It is an occasion for the society to acknowledge the extremely tough, critically important and challenging task that every parent does each day i.e. to raise the next generation of citizens.

Wittians of Grade 1 & 2 PB (ICSE) were given a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time and bond with their parents and celebrate Parents’ Day with a flower making workshop ‘Floral Expressions- my parents my sunshine’ on Saturday 25^th July 2020. Students participated in the activity with great zeal and enthusiasm, enjoying the session with Ms Chandini Thakkar as she guided and supported them through the activity.

The children happily expressed their love, care and affection towards their parents.

Kargil Vijay Diwas celebration at WIS, Udaipur

To commemorate the supreme sacrifices of our soldiers and their exemplary courage in the Kargil war a Special Assembly was organised on Monday, 27th July, 2020.

This day known as Kargil Vijay Diwas is a day of reckoning the selfless service of The Indian Armed Forces towards our motherland. A documentary based on Operation Vijay made the students aware of this important day and the Heroes of this mission. Wittians were filled with admiration for The Indian Armed Forces and the feeling of Nationalism brimmed everyone's heart.

Celebrating Parents Day - Chef’s Corner by Primary Section at WIS, Pawan Baug (2020-21)

Donning the Chef’s Hat!

Parents are Visible God. Their role in a child’s life is irreplaceable. There is no better way to celebrate Parents Day than to spend some time with your parents. Keeping this in mind, Witty International School, PB, Primary Section invited our students of Grade 4 to celebrate Parents Day with a workshop on ‘Chef’s Corner’ on Saturday, 25^th July 2020. Wittians were very excited to experiment their culinary skills as they got hands-on experience in making something special for their parents. Our children got an opportunity to spend time with Chef Nikita Pinto (Mandrain Oriental Jumeirah, Dubai) and Chef Priyanka Patil (Hyatt Place) in not only learning how to make healthy Granola Bars but also created lasting memories with their parents. Wittians enjoyed interacting with the chefs on healthy eating habits and easy-to-make recipes.

Celebrating Parents Day by Exploring Russia, Primary Section at WIS, Pawan Baug (2020-21)

Without leaving the comfort of their homes during this pandemic, Wittians along with their parents embarked on a virtual excursion to Russia. Witty International School, PB, Primary Section invited our students of Grade 5 for a fun filled informative Virtual Tour to Russia with Ms. Tanvi Parekh (Founder, Roam Eazy Holidays) on Saturday, 25^th July 2020. Wittians boarded excitedly and were taken on a tour guided by Ms. Olga Cardamone who joined us from Russia introducing our children to its rich history. The brilliantly designed virtual tour was a wonderful way of exploring the country and soaking in the culture and history of the beautiful Russia, Russian cuisine, customs, traditions, various churches, along with many other famous places of Russia. All in all, Wittians enjoyed the experience thoroughly and took back with them a great deal of rich Russian culture and heritage. 

Celebrating Parents Day–Tie and Dye(Bandhani Art) by Primary Section at WIS, Pawan Baug (2020-21)

Witty International School, PB, Primary Section believes in welcoming its students each week with great positivity despite the world which continues to navigate through this difficult time. Hence the school took the initiative of organizing a workshop on ‘Tie and Dye (Bandhani Art)’ for the students of Grade 3 on Saturday 25^th July, 2020 to take an uptick in family time and togetherness on such a special occasion. The session conducted by Ms. Vaishali Shah Jaiswal, an Authorized Teacher at Camlin and Hobby Ideas (Pidilite) was meant to refresh the interest in art and improve artistic abilities in our children. Wittians enjoyed the day by performing a fun filled activity related to creating coloured patterns.

Celebration of International Parent's day at Witty World, Udaipur by Jr..KG and Sr.KG section

 "One of the greatest titles in the world is that of Parents. And one of the biggest blessing in the world is to have parents who are addressed as Mom and Dad".

Wittians of Sr.KG & Jr.KG of Witty World, Udaipur celebrated "International Parent's Day" virtually on Saturday, 25th July, 2020.

Children enjoyed sticking their parent's photos on the palm cutouts which they had made using chart paper. It was then followed by a wonderful game and dance. The little ones celebrated this beautiful day with loads of love, hugs and kisses along with their parents and expressed their deep gratitude with great joy.

Armaan Arora for being certified as Game Developer at WIS, Udaipur

 Wittians have proved their mettle time and again in various fields and achieved laurels. Taking the legacy further our student, Armaan Arora of Grade- IV CAIE, has become a Certified Game Developer at such a tender age, which again proves that age is no more a criteria to raise oneself up.

We congratulate him and wish him luck for all his future endeavors.
