Republic Day Celebration By Secondary Section, ICSE (2020-21), WIS, PB

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at the Witty international School ICSE Secondary on Tuesday, 26th January, 2021. 

Irrespective of the pandemic situation there was no stone left unturned by the students and the staff to make it virtually a grand success. To grace the occasion, we had Lt. Col B.P Singh, who with his elated word uplifted the spirit of the young Wittians. 

The show escalated with the song, skit, and dance performances followed up by enticing projects showcasing the talent of the students. 

The occasion showed the true spirit of the nation and its soul despite of the fact that everyone was present virtually there was no meagreness of love and pride for our motherland, hence making it a grand success.

Republic Day Celebration By Primary Section, ICSE (2020-21), WIS, PB

May we always have the freedom to choose, freedom to live, and freedom to dream.

26th January holds an everlasting place in our national memory because it is the day when modern India was born. Witty International School celebrated the 72nd Republic day this 26th of January, 2021, with immense pride and grandeur on the virtual platform.

The National Anthem was sung as the tri coloured flag kept fluttering on the screens of one and all.The little Wittians from grade 1 and 2 came in attires dressed as different freedom fighters, they chanted various slogans, sang patriotic songs and delivered speeches on the significance of Republic Day.

Children from grade 3-5 performed a beautiful dance on mishaps of various songs dedicated to the country, a patriotic melody, an exhibition based on SUPW - Best out of waste products displayed by the students that depicted the importance of three R’s - ‘Reduce, Recycle, Reuse’. The special guest invited was the Retired Assistant Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Mr. Prakash Wani who shared some wise and valuable thoughts with the students.

The programme ended with the Vote of thanks. At last, it was shared that let us not pass this republic day as any other holiday. Instead look within and think, whether or not we are fulfilling our fundamental duties.

Art Competitions provide a platform to the students to display their creative and artistic abilities and also have a life-changing effect on them. Witty International School, Udaipur congratulates Wittian Shlok Dad of Grade VIII for bagging III position in Online On the Spot Painting Competition organised by WWF under their event Udaipur Bird Festival on 22nd January, 2021.

Kudos to the efforts of our Wittian for showcasing his art and bringing laurels to the Witty Family.

Republic Day Celebration by Jr.KG & Sr.KG Section (2020-21), Witty World, Goregaon East

Witty World (Goregaon East) celebrated Republic day on Monday, 25th January, 2021 on the virtual platform. During the Republic Day celebrations, children were dressed in tri-colour clothes. The teacher explained the importance of Republic Day to the children. Children also received information about the National symbols such as National flag, National anthem, National emblem, National bird and National animal. The Republic Day celebration included different activities. Children enjoyed making the tri colour fruit starter. They had great fun dancing to the tunes of patriotic songs.
