Effective leadership -The Investiture Ceremony WIS,Udaipur

If your actions inspire others to dream more, learn more, do more and become more, then you are a leader.” – John Quincy Adams.
On the morning of 3 September, 2013, deserving young talents of Witty International School were bestowed with the responsibility of leading their School with their commitment, confidence and competence. The 2nd Investiture Ceremony thus marked the establishment of Student Council for the academic session 2013-14.
Ms. Joyce Rodrigues  facilitated the entire ceremony. Then the Chief Guest, Principal Ms. Shubha Govil enlightened the students so that they may value and justify their stewardship.
Witty family sincerely wishes well to the Head boy, Head girl and the entire student union. We wish to see them showing uncompromising courage while representing WIS, and enough consideration towards those they serve. She said a very interesting thing - that “position brings responsibility”. The term responsibility means the ability to choose response. We humans have been given this ability to use our free will. And if we respond in accordance with the universal principles, common to people from all walks of life, only then we can become effective leaders.
The ceremony was concluded by student leaders taking oath, where they vowed to stand by the natural laws like integrity, sincerity, service and contribution. Emerson once said, "What you are shouts so loudly in my ears that I cannot hear what you say. So if these student leaders of WIS show integrity towards these principles then they are sure to make tangible contributions towards their school, and ultimately towards the entire humanity.
