Raksha Bandhan is an occasion to celebrate the sacred bond of
love and affection between brothers and sisters. In keeping with the
traditional festive celebration of Raksha Bandhan, Witty International School,
Pawan Baug organised a Thali Decoration competition. The highlight of the
competition was that the children made Thalis with reusable materials. One
could see a variety of Thalis made from cardboard, sponge, etc. The children decorated
the Thalis with the sacred thread – Rakhi, sweets and the red tikka. The
students truly understood the significance of this memorable day.
