As our country ‘India’
celebrates her ‘68th Independence Day’ on the 15th of August 2014, children
of Pre Primary section at WIS also celebrated “Independence Day” on Thursday, 14 August 2014, with the
eternal favour of patriotism and instilled the importance of being a true
Indian. Our little Wittians and the teachers came dressed in tri colour
clothes. The class was given the festive look. Children were explained the
meaning and the importance of Independence Day and the teachers acknowledged
the great struggle made by our freedom fighters and the challenges our nation
faces today.
The celebration was then carried forward through different activities. Children proudly sang the patriotic songs. A Patriotic fervor was quite visible on the innocent faces of budding responsible citizens of tomorrow.
