On Friday, 19
September 2014, children of Playgroup section celebrated ‘Square Day’. The
class was decorated with Square shape objects. Teacher introduced the shape
through a story named, “Square Head George”. Children willingly participated in
various activities such as shape tracing, walking over square shape and square
sponge dabbing over the worksheet.
To make Square shape
Day more interactive children were asked to bring Square shape snacks in their
tiffin. Tiffin time was followed by a rhyme on the Square shape.
Here's a square,
Here's a square,
How can you tell?
How can you tell?
It has 4 sides,
It has 4 corners,
It's a Square.
It's a Square.
Children enjoyed
learning the shape with great enthusiasm.
