years. On Friday, October 17, 2014, our little ones of PG to Sr. KG
celebrated Diwali. Teachers and children came dressed in beautiful ethnic
clothes. They all looked very excited. The entire classroom was decorated and kids
were very happy to see the decorated class rooms. Programme started with
lighting of lamps and worshiping of goddess Laxmi by our honourable Director

explained about the importance of the festival and significance of celebrating
it. Children recited rhymes and presented a small play to illustrate the moral
that we should help each other. The atmosphere around was full of happiness and
enthusiasm. They enjoyed eating snacks and sweets brought in their lunch. The
slides related to the festival were shown and children enjoyed drawing Deepaks and
crackers in their scrap book. Children had great fun and entertainment.
Teachers also explained the ways of celebrating the festival in a safe Eco
friendly manner. The sparkling stars of WIS enjoyed the celebration a lot and
