Holi is the festival of colours. The festival is filled with so much fun and frolic that the very mention of the word 'Holi' draws a smile and enthusiasm amongst the people. Holi also celebrates the arrival of Spring, a season of joy and hope.
Thursday, 5 March 2015, marked the celebration of "Holi" – the most colourful and vibrant festival of the year, for the little Wittians of pre-primary section at Witty International School.
Children came armed with their water guns to squirt water on their friends, they were shown a short movie on Lord Prahlad and were explained the importance of the festival. The trainee teachers also performed a short skit on Holi in which they conveyed the message on having a safe holi. Children also had colouring activities in their respective classrooms. After a fun filled and exciting celebration the day finally came to an end by wishing each other "a very Happy Holi !!"
