Skating journey comes to a happy end for Jr. KG and Sr. KG, A and B divisions.
Extracurricular activities play an important role in the Kindergarten years, since it helps develop a child’s gross motor skills and concentration. Skating Camp was organized during the month of February and March for the children of Jr. KG – A and B and Sr. KG – A and B at Witty International School. Children learnt the basic rules and terms of skating and it also helped them gain confidence. During this period of one month children learnt how to walk, balance, sit on skates, pass through hurdles in different styles, run, jump and apply brakes. To show off their skating skills a special program was organized on Tuesday, 3 March 2015, where children excitedly and confidently displayed their skating skills to their proud parents. The day was full of excited shrieks and giggles from the children and proud smiles on the parents face.
