In the good old days, when we felt the need
for haircut, we approached the local barber who gave us an efficient manageable
haircut and served the basic purpose. Today, hair dressers are known to be
creative trend setters and fashion stylists, whose skill gives people a
confidence in the way they look. They work their magic, equipped with scissors,
comb and various hair styling instruments.
As an extension of their theme of the
month- Community Helpers, children of Jr.KG were taken for a field trip to a
renowned hair salon “Turquoise Hair Salon and Spa” in Goregaon. The owner,
Ms.Pushpa Bhatt, showcased the various products used for keeping our hair
healthy, strong and maintained. Children also got to sit and
experience the hair wash reclining chair and the pulley adjustable chair in the
salon. Children were shown various equipments including the straightener,
curling tongs, rollers, hair sprays, hair dryers and steam machine.
Children loved the
personalised care and attention they received. It was thoroughly a good hands
on experience for all children.
