“The four cornerstones of character on which the structure of our nation
was built are: initiative, imagination, individuality and independence.”
August 15th, 1947
was the day the tri colour was first raised and independent India was born. The
tri colour was raised by the leaders of a nation who were bursting with
eagerness to lead a life of complete freedom from their colonial masters. Wittians at Bhilwara were geared up and enthused for a momentous assembly to
celebrate the Independence Day of India. The function started with flag Hoisting ceremony which was
done by our respected Principal, Mrs Sadhna Mishra. Students spoke about the importance of the
Independence Day and expressed their emotions through patriotic songs and a
wonderful recitation of the freedom struggle of India from the British. The passion and energy level of the students were contagious
and teachers also had their share of nationalism in the celebrations of
independence. Celebration concluded by words
of Principal Madam which motivated students to take this day as an opportunity to
reflect on their daily lives and carve a unique identity for ourselves. They
were emphasized get independence from the mind that is so socially enslaved by
the west and let us embrace the India in all of ourselves.
Wish you a very Happy Independence
Day!!
