“The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance.”
World Art Day is celebrated on April 15 because of Leonardo Da Vinci’s birthday who is considered as a symbol of free expression, multiculturalism, tolerance, world peace and of course, a visionary in the world of Art.
Witty International School celebrated the “World Art Day” on 17th April, 2018 by organizing various activities.
The event included Drawing and Colouring Activity, Collage Making and Painting Competition for Wittians of Grade I-V. The event proved to be a great platform for the students illustrating Art and Aesthetics in everyday life, sharing their views about preserving the culture and art of our country. It encouraged the students to be original and to contribute to the Art galleries and Museums. To mark the culmination, the work of all the students was displayed and appreciated.
