Creative Hands – Best Out of Waste Competition
One of the best methods of spreading the “GO GREEN” message through school is to find ways to go green for students. They spend a lot of time in school and when they have teachers & school who believes in protecting the environment, they tend to pick up lots of valuable tips and lessons that they can take home with them and share.
Best out of waste is one of the most enjoyable crafts that children can be engaged in. Little hands and imaginative minds of Primary Section, WIS, Pawan Baug came together in a creative burst of energy during 'Best Out of Waste' competition held on Thursday, 26th July, 2018.
Wittians from Grades I - V participated earnestly showcasing their creative streak. The competition focused at creating awareness on recycling of resources to support the theme 'GO GREEN' and the source of encouragement for students to re-use waste material through innovation and creativity. It also aimed to explore and encourage creativity in Wittians and offer them a platform to showcase their skill. It inspired our Wittians to work creatively and promote artistic excellence.
Children came up with amazing ideas using waste materials. A variety of materials like pistachio shells, coconut shell, ice-cream sticks, etc were used to design useful goods like pen stand, paper bags, key holder, photo frames, etc were made by the children and appreciated by Participation Certificate. Each of the items prepared by the children was a treat to the eyes. This also made the selection process extremely difficult for the judges. The winners of this competition were felicitated during the school assembly motivating them to keep up the good work.
