“LIBERTY, EQUALITY,
FRATERNITY” is not just a slogan but the guiding principle to establish a peaceful
lsociety today and for the future generations. Witty Kids, Chikoowadi celebrated
the French National day with great pomp and splendour. Bastille Day is
celebrated each year on July 14, marking the anniversary of the French
Revolution in Paris in the year 1789.
The week long French
day celebration aimed to get France closer to the students. Students
enthusiastically participated in different activities related to France and its
culture adding charm to each day. They enjoyed watching a video imparting
knowledge of France and its vibrant and colourful culture, making takeaway cards,
getting familiarised to French words, drawing, colouring and decorating the
Eiffel tower and making French flags.
Students of grade V
came dressed in French style clothing and spoke about the culture, monuments,brands
and famous personalities of France. A collage making activity using pictures of
French costumes,monuments, brands currency was highly enriching for the students
of grade I and II.The celebration was an excellent platform for the students to
learn and experience the French culture.
