September 14, 1949 was when Hindi was adopted
as the official language of the Constituent Assembly. Hindi is also called as a
‘link language’, which connects the united India. This language has travelled a
long distance to make its presence felt in the World. It is spoken in many
parts of the world. Gandhiji used this language to unite the whole India and
used this language as ‘language of unity’.
With an aim to
rekindle the love for India’s official language amongst our students of WIS,
Pawan Baug observed 'Hindi Diwas' on Wednesday, 12th September 2018 with great
fervour. The atmosphere was filled with vigour and enthusiasm along with the
blend of cultural programme which included dances, skit and street play. This
day was celebrated with great gusto in the presence of Hindi Subject Matter
Expert Ms.Falguni Dave whose words motivated our future citizens of
India.
With Hindi as their theme, the programme saw
a speech and greetings being presented in Hindi. The cultural programme
included dances, songs and plays. Students dressed up as Hindi letters,
highlighting importance of each letter in the form of poetry, also made for a
very interesting sight while enacting a tough fight between the basic letters. Students dressed as kings, ministers, and
even the common man, were an interesting sight to watch during the programme.
The students sang songs in praise of Hindi, and made a presentation of amazing
facts regarding the language. Melodious tune of very famous hindi couplet
poem sung by group of students grabbed the attention of onlookers.
On 18th September 2018 Primary Wittians of WIS,
Pawan Baug enthusiastically participated in Darpan to
mark the occasion of Hindi Diwas. Darpan included various skill based activities like Bhashan Pratiyogita,
Veshbhusha Pratiyogita, Sansani, Kahani Wahi Soch Nayi, Vigyapan Pratiyogita,
Suro ki Jhankar and Sulekh. Wittians were so well prepared as all the
categories were based on the theme Fairy Tale and left the judges in confusion
while deciding the results.
