“He who plants a tree, plants a hope.”
But their depletion has become a serious problem
So to make the students aware of this issue, Witty International school, Atun
Road, Bhilwara celebrated Van Mahotsav on July Saturday, July 06,2019 in the school premises.
The celebration
started with an insightful thought on the environment. Student presented their views and threw light on the importance
of trees in our lives. This was followed by foot tapping dance by the
students of the Grade V B. They had a unique story to tell and spread
the message that the green planet they live in must be protected and cared for.
Witty choir presented a motivational song giving a message to keep
our nature green and clean by giving us oxygen and taking Carbon dioxide from
air. After that class VII A students held everyone
captive by a wonderful presentation of Nukkad Natak. The message given was to
protect animals from neglect, cruelty, and extinction.
The celebration was an ideal opportunity to instill the value of
social responsibility in the students towards safeguarding trees and forests.
The focus of the celebration was towards forming a personal connect between the
students and trees through a process of experience, reflection and creation,
carried out through various activities.
Speaking on this occasion Mrs Abha
Mittal, Principal stressed
the need for tree plantation and suggested students to plant at-least one
sapling at their home on this occasion.
