Lotus, Rose, Marigold and Jasmine
Learning about them was so much fun!
To reinforce the concept of “Creepy crawlies and beautiful flowers”, “Flower day” was celebrated by the blossoming buds of the Playgroup section on Tuesday, 11th February, 2020 at Witty World, Goregaon (East). The community area was decorated with different flower cut – outs as well as real flowers. Children brought various kinds of flowers like Rose, Marigold, Jasmine, Bougainvillea, Sunflower and Hibiscus with them. The idea behind the concept was to expose them to the world of flowers. Teacher and children had an interactive conversation which was not only refreshing but also helped the children to distinguish between different flowers, their textures and colors. Children also did a group art activity to make big flower mobiles. Indeed the day was fun filled with loads of learning!
