Today
a school without games and sports is unthinkable, as sports and games have
become an integral element of present-day education.
The
school playground of WIS was filled with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome
atmosphere on 18th February, 2017 as the Pre primary Section of Witty
International School celebrated its 15th Annual Sports Meet – Synergy, based on
the theme - MAKE IN INDIA.
The
day was followed by an impressive march past, lighting of the Olympic flame and
the oath-taking ceremony.
The
inaugural function came to a close with the display of energizing exercise
drill which set the tone for the rest of the event. Sports
events commenced soon after this .Once the races began, the air was filled
with cheers and tons of encouragement for the little Wittians. Parent- Parent race added to the merriment.
The Meet saw its culmination with the vote of thanks and National Anthem.
So
we conclude with a famous saying,
Winners
win, Winners lose, But Winners play.
