Ganesh Chaturthi is one of the important Hindu
festivals celebrated throughout India with great devotion. The day is
celebrated as the Birthday of Lord Ganesha, the elephant headed son of Lord
Shiva and goddess Parvati. Lord Ganesha is symbol of wisdom, prosperity and
good fortune.
On 13th September2018, Thursday the
little Wittians of Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated the festival
of Ganesh Chaturthi with lots of fun and joy. Children also witnessed and
participated in the special assembly on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi where
children spoke some lines about Lord Gaesha.
Children enjoyed making Ganesha in their scrap book
and even coloured the worksheet of Ganesha with great fun. Children were also given
information about importance of using eco-friendly Ganpati idols to reduce
water pollution. Little wittians also tried their hands in making eco friendly
Ganpati idols and decorated it beautifully. Overall, the spirit and enthusiasm
of the festival marked the importance of the fun filled celebration. They also
