WHEN YOU
DANCE, YOUR PURPOSE IS NOT TO GET TO A CERTAIN PLACE ON THE FLOOR. IT’S TO
ENJOY EACH STEP ALONG THE WAY. – WAYNE DYER
Attitude Pumping, hard hitting,
Music rocking, Non-stopping,
Energy exploding, heart pounding,
Flowing like a faucet,
When we began dancing Hip Hop
Through dance, children can gain a multitude of important developments, sensory and spatial awareness, coordination, concentration and mobility. But more than this, we use it to express emotions, increase confidence or even just to make ourselves feel better! Dancing and music enthuse you with enthusiasm no matter whichever direction you turn. Music was played to capture the emotions of each student, taking them out of this hectic world, for now. The teachers’ unmatched skills and outstanding techniques matched with artistry made the whole session unprecedented and stupendous. No doubt to say, overall this workshop will help them in grooving, learning, empowering with the best version of a dancer in themselves. Hip-hop is one of the dance forms that tells a story about an individual dancer’s experience in their youth and in this world. Every hip hop song or rap song contains something that we can learn and can help us grow.
Mr. Bijo Kurian, the Principal, and the guiding
force quoted, “I praise dance, for it frees people from the heaviness of matter
and binds the isolated to community. I praise dance, which demands everything:
health and a clear spirit and a buoyant soul. Dance is a transformation of
space, of time, of people, who are in constant danger of becoming all brain,
will, or feeling.”
