WITTIANS (Udaipur) visit “The Valley of Gods.”

To explore the world outside and to give the students an exposure and opportunity to learn beyond the classroom, and excursion to Kullu-Manali-Sonapani was organized for the students of Grade IV to X.

Students departed for Delhi on 8^th May’2012 and had one night halt at Chandigarh where they visited the Neckchand’s Rock Garden, Sukhna Lake, Rose Garden and Pinjore Garden.

Next day they stared the onward journey to Manali, The Valley of Gods! The experience of enjoying the chill in the atmosphere was a great respite from the scorching summer of Rajasthan. Children enjoyed visiting the local tourist spots like the Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Bath and the serene Tibetan Monastery.

Visit to the Snowline and Sonapani glacier was the biggest treat to the children as they spent an unforgettable time romping the snow clad mountains and playing in the snow. Children enjoyed a leisurely stroll down the Mall Road in the evening and shopped for gifts and trinkets to carry back home.

On the way back they enjoyed visiting a Shawl Factory at Kullu and saw the process of weaving shawls.

All the children’s were enthusiastically welcomed by the parents on their return to Udaipur on 14^th May 2012.

English Workshop at WIS, Udaipur

To enhance the Active English Teaching Skills a Workshop was organized at WIS, Udaipur. The resource person Ms. Nishu Verma apprised the teacher with the latest and innovative teaching techniques to make the class more lively and interactive. 

The teachers were highly benefitted with the interactive session.  

A Tribute to Mother - The Creator, by WIS Udaipur

It is difficult to pay reverence to the Mother on a particular day. All days are perfect days to celebrate the joy of having a mother, the creator, who has done many things for us. Mothers are the one on whom we put all the blame for our failures. We would not hesitate once to point out her single fault though she would not miss even a slightest opportunity to praise us. Mothers Day is the right time to apologize for all the troubles that was given to her, without even realizing at most times how troublesome one has been to her. To inculcate the values of realizing the importance of mother, Witty International School celebrated Mother’s Day in which students expressed their feelings for their mother through Thoughts, Poems and a dance.

Splish Splash Day at WIS, Udaipur

On Thursday, 3^rd May 2012 Water play was held for Jr.Kg section. Children were excited and happy to go and get themselves drenched under the sprinklers in their colourful costumes. They enjoyed splashing water on each other and dancing on foot tapping numbers.

It was a fun day for them…………..A splishy Splashy day.
