Witty
International School celebrated The Sports Day – Synergy 2017-18 with great
gusto, grandeur and enthusiasm from Playgroup to Grade II.
The event
commenced with the pious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guests Mr. Dilip
Singh Shaktawat, Mr. Shakil Ahmed; esteemed directors – Ms. Preeti Sogani, Mr.
Deependra Sogani, Mr. Hemant Paliwal and Principal Ms. Shubha Govil.
The chief
guest inspected the majestic March Past and the Principal administered the
solemn oath.
The sports
ground buzzed with great festivity & echoed with encouragement for the
young athletes. Students of Playgroup to Grade II competed class wise in events
including flat, relay and obstacle races.
The
highlights of the evening were the Parent – Child race and the various Yoga
postures emphasizing the significance of sports & yoga in our lives.
The winners
of the various races were felicitated by the chief guest for their indomitable
spirit. Emerald House was awarded with trophy of the year for their exceptional
performance.
The evening
came to a fruitful end with the meditative quotes by the Principal Ms Shubha
Govil, who advocated that sportsmanship is only another name for honesty,
integrity and loyalty. A good sportsman is thus an ideal citizen.
