CHRISTMAS FUN AT WITTY WORLD BY LITTLE TODDLERS OF THE MOTHER TODDLER PROGRAMME

The  Little  toddlers of the Mother Toddler Programme  (MTP)  Enjoyed a Christmas Party with their entire Family at Witty World !!!  

The little chefs & their Papa's enjoyed a cooking experience and a lively session of water play further added to the fun quotient!!!

Witty World reverberated with the sound of Christmas Carols, on Friday December 23^rd as Little Wittians trooped in, dressed in their party best, all geared up for a day of Christmas cheer and  merriment!!!

The trainee teachers from the Witty Institute of teacher training[WITT]   had, as part of their lesson on Christmas , put up a nativity set up and decorated the entire school. The children’s  excitement knew no bounds as they danced to Christmas carols, made their take away activity, played Christmas related games, and listened to the nativity story on the birth of baby Jesus.

The  proverbial icing on the  Christmas cake ,was  the fact that the little ones received their Christmas gifts from Santa  himself!!!!

Little  toddlers of Witty international School, Udaipur celebrated Christmas with great zeal and enthusiasm. They came dressed in red coloured clothes to celebrate birthday of Lord Jesus Christ. The programme began with a skit that portrayed the birth of Jesus Christ. They sang Christmas carol and enjoyed dancing on jingle bell song. They showed their creativity by drawing and colouring on Christmas theme in their scrapbook. They were anxiously looking forward to meet Santa Claus who danced with everyone.

Christmas was celebrated in Witty International School, Udaipur with full spirit on 23^rd December 2016 by classes VI – XII. Students of Class VIII presented a wonderful play depicting the birth of Lord Jesus in a unique and interesting manner. Students dressed in red and white danced to the tune of various Christmas songs and enlightened everyone about their significance and association with Christmas celebrations. Students sang Christmas carols and were given muffins by Santa Claus. In keeping with the Christmas spirit, the whole school wore a festive look and was tastefully decorated. The students dressed in their party clothes enjoyed thoroughly and imbibed a message of loving, caring, sharing and respecting all as was preached by Jesus himself.

Holistic experience for Wittians – Field trip to the Church

“God isn’t looking for people of great faith, but for individuals ready to follow him”.

As we approach the Christmas eve, 23^rd December, 2016 will be marked as an informative day for Wittians.

The Children of Grade- 1,2 and 3 of Witty International School, Udaipur were taken for a field trip to Our Lady of Fatima Cathedral. The Father of Church was very amiable with the students and he told them about the birth of Lord Jesus and his contribution to mankind. The little brains full of curiosity raised many questions which were answered patiently. Overall, the trip which was in correlation with their EVS subject topic ‘Places of Worship’ was really fruitful in teaching the students more about spirituality.

Christmas, a time for fun and frolic was celebrated at Witty Kids with a lot of zest and zeal on Friday, 23^rd December 2016.The children were narrated the story of the birth of Jesus Christ the Saviour, through a nativity set up. The kids also sang Christmas carols and enjoyed clicking pictures with Santa. They were overwhelmed to receive gifts from Santa.

A Parent Child Ms Paint Competition for Grade- 3A was organized by WIS, Udaipur on 21/12/16. Students of Grade-3A showed great imagination and innovation in creating excellent Paintings on the topic “Clean Earth Green Earth” on their computer screens, using different features of MS Paint. The Students as well as their parents enthusiastically participated in the competition and conveyed their thought on Environment and Nature through their paintings. Not only did they incorporate many facets of the topic, but even the color combination and presentation on the topic was highly commendable. 

Gratitude Towards Community Helpers!

Life is not a journey travelled alone. never forget the people who helped you get where you are today, and be thankful to the people who may help you get where you'll be tomorrow.
Students of Grade I and II learnt to make Fruit-Salad and served it the people who help us in school, as a gesture of thanking them for the services they render!!

Christmas Celebration at 2016-17

"It is Christmas in the heart that puts Christmas in air".
Witty International School, Udaipur celebrated the festival of Christmas with gaiety and fervour. Students of Grade-I to V participated, witnessed and enjoyed the assembly.
The programme began with the school prayer which ensued with a skit that portrayed the glorious advent of Jesus Christ, on this earth about two millennia ago. The students rejoiced the birth of Christ by dancing on different songs. The assembly culminated with the "Jingle Bell" Carol where Santa Claus took up the charge of filling the entire crowd with joy and danced with everyone with great enthusiasm.

“Don’t just study hard, study smart”. This is the key to excelling in exams without breaking sweat.

Wittians of Senior Secondary participated in “Pro- Social Peer Moderator Programme” organized of Mental Health and Behavioural Science Fortis Healthcare Limited, on December 19,2016.

It was a great opportunity for students as they learnt about exam stress- busting techniques, in the form of quick guide which would help them sail through their exams, without any trouble.

They also got an opportunity to work as peer moderator of “Fortis Pro-Social Programme” with this approach they will be able to not only help themselves but work as a counselor (Moderator) to help their peers.

On the Spot PowerPoint Presentation Competition

We are living in digital world, and our creativity has to migrate from contemporary medium and adapt to express through Computers.

ICT is an Integral part of the school curriculum, and is a diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, and to create, disseminate, store, and manage information.”

With the aim of honing the soft skills and generating awareness in the society, students of WIS Udaipur participated in "On the Spot PowerPoint Presentation Competition" which was commenced from 19^th December onwards for Classes VI to VIII.  To test their proficiency level in presentation skills, the topics were given on the spot. Students participated with great enthusiasm and enjoyed creating Power Point Presentations. The topics for Day-1 were ‘Child labour’(Grade 6 B) ,’Cyber Crime’(Grade7A) and ’Global Warming’ ( Grade 8A).
