Anti Terrorism Day observed at WIS, Atun Road, Bhilwara on Thursday, May 21,2020 (Grade III to X)
‘For us, the best way to fight against terrorism is - educate the next generation.’
Keeping this motive in mind, Students of Witty International School, Bhilwara observed ‘Anti Terrorism Day’ and paid tribute to the former Prime Minister of India Shri Rajiv Gandhi on Thursday, May 21, 2020.
As Witty believes that the best way to solve problems and to fight against war is through dialogue, so the students of Grade 3 to 8 were assigned the task to write slogans and to make masks a day before the activity. Students picked up their most powerful weapons i.e. pencils, books, papers etc. to raise their voice for the day. They all believed that we're taught to be strong, Witty teaches us to respect and protect.
During Enrichment hour, Students of grade 9 and 10 shared their views about the day through PPT presentation, which they themselves created. Students watched the video based on the same to emphasize that our country believes in the concept of “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam”, a philosophy that tries to foster an understanding that the whole of humanity is one family, in true spirits and never exhibited territorial interests in the history and never supported terrorism.
