Hindi Handwriting Competition held at WIS, Bhilwara (29.04.15)

"The art of writing is the art of discovering what you believe."

With the invasion of technology, the beauty of handwritten letters and precise penmanship has unfortunately been lost in the digital shuffle.Witty International School gave a chance to all the Wittians to revel in the joy of taking a pen to paper, not just to show the importance of handwriting but also the importance of our National language too.

 WIS Bhilwara conducted a Hindi handwriting competition for the students of Grade I to VIII on April 29, 2015. All the students actively participated in the competition and showed interest through their beautiful handwriting. The criteria for the judgment were formation of letters, spacing of letters, no omission of letters, spellings and overall presentation.

World Dance Day Celebration at WIS, Udaipur

On This Wednesday April 29 dance enthusiasts around the globe celebrated World Dance Day also known as International Dance Day. Students of WIS celebrated this occasion by learning few steps of different dance like Salsa and Cha Cha. Students also gave valuable information on this day. They were also given a lecture cum demonstration by the dance teacher about various dance forms.

On 27^th April 2015, Wittians of Sr.KG participated in Show & Tell Activity, they made the project on Seasons in the Scrap Book by sticking pictures , cotton and different objects of various seasons. They tried to explain the project which they brought.

Red Day Celebration In PG, at WIS, Udaipur

Red is the colour of anger,

Red is the colour of an apple.

Red is the colour of a cherry,

Red is the the hot sun.

Red is the colour of Santa’s suit,

Red is my favourite colour.

On Monday 27^th April, 2015 children of Playgroup were introduced to Red Colour. Children came dressed in red coloured clothes and class was decorated with red colour objects. Children enjoyed Balloon Dabbing Activity. 

Students of WIS Bhilwara enjoyed a field trip to a village ( 24.04.2015)

Field trips enable students to experience the theoretical concepts practically.They help a child to understand better and learn more. To make Wittians better learners WIS Bhilwara arranged a field trip to a nearby village, Paladi on Friday 24 April. Students of Grade 4 learnt about the different types of houses and the different materials used to make them. Students also compared the architecture and patterns of rural houses to modern houses and flats. They were overjoyed to see the long and large farms as playgrounds and temples as community centers.

Students saw Kuccha houses and tried to compare them with city houses, which are very strong. They learnt that houses made of mud are cooler than the houses made of cement.

Students witnessed the village women walking long distances to bring potable water and realized that water is very precious and should not be wasted. They learnt that the life in village is difficult and hard.  Students were able to distinguish the life of city and the life of village.

Overall they enjoyed the trip and experienced the lifestyle of village.Students were overwhelmed with the hospitality of villagers.

The trip was very productive as our students understood their lesson- ‘Different types of houses’ very well.

Introduction to Summer Season

On 23^rd April Thursday children of Nursery were introduced to Summer Season.Teachers conducted an activity depicting Summer Season with the help of a Pool, Umbrellas, Hat, Sunglasses etc.They also prepared Lemonade and enjoyed Summer Season setup.

World Earth Day observed at WIS Bhilwara

Earth day Earth day, Comes once a year,

But we should make our message clear.

Love and clean our Earth each day,

Make that plan to enjoy healthy stay.

World Earth Day was celebrated by the students of Witty International School, Bhilwara. Students of Grade IV presented a play to increase the awareness among the students about the environment safety as well as to demonstrate the environmental protection measures. Students gave a message through their play that Our Earth is the only planet in the Universe where life is possible till date. It is very necessary to maintain the natural assets of the earth in order to continue the life on the earth. They gave the message that in the rush of the crowd, the most intelligent creature of the God called human is slowly losing its humanity and forgot to take care of the planet that gave it life and started using its resources very ruthlessly.

 The celebration was followed by a poem in which students threw light on global issues as well as the prevention of our Earth. They told that many of men’s actions, such as the invention of automobiles, deforestation, setting up of industries, and improper disposal of waste products had been aimed at his own good but affected the earth. Students focused to follow 3 R’s that is recycle, reuse and reduce.

Look and Draw and Drawing Competition held at WIS Bhilwara ( 22.04.15)

Creativity and art is putting your imagination to work and it produces the most extraordinary result in human culture. This quote was actually lived by the Wittians of Bhilwara who participated in Look and Draw and Drawing competition with a great enthusiasm. Students of Grade I to II had Look and Draw competition and students of Grade III to VIII had Drawing competition in the school. The aim behind this competition was to raise the student’s attention about the close relationship between the given topic and its surroundings.

 Students showed their creativity and independence of expression through their drawings. They used their memory to recall what they know about the given topics such as – portrait face study, historical monuments, Stroke shading etc. This competition helped them to develop their skills using imagination and new methods because each child‘s art is unique and follows a universal pattern of development.

Laughter Day Celebration in PG at WIS, Udaipur

Cost Free is expensive smile easy to learn hard to find just that beaming curve is the best shape for aaaaall to entwine. On 21st April, 2015. Children of Playgroup were introduced to the concept of smile and Happy. Children brought smiley objects with them and celebrated Laughter Day with their peers.

Celebrated Laughter Day (Playgroup) on 20.04.2015, WIS, Bhilwara

The sparkling stars of Playgroup celebrated  laughter day with great zeal. The classroom was decorated according to laughter day. World laughter  day takes place on the first  Sunday of May every year.The kids brought stickers of smiley from their home.The toddlers made the smiley  mobile , they stuck the yellow paper on it. The teacher stuck the smiley face on little one’s dress.The kids could recognize smiley.This was a fun learning experience for them.

Celebrated Favourite Toy Day (Nursery) on 17.04.2015,WIS, Bhilwara

Children become emotionally attached to cuddly toys, blankets and even smelly old scraps of material because they intuitively believe they possess a unique essence or life force. Children like toys because they like playing. Sometimes they might be bored or they can't play outside or with a friend so they play with their toys. So, on Friday, April 17,2015 children of Nursery section were taken into their beautiful world of toys. The motive of the activity was to enhance social skills of the children. They brought their favourite toys to school and learnt to share their toys with their peer group. The day was amazing and entertaining for the children.

Collage Making Activity at WIS, Udaipur

Extracurricular activities are the major ways students can demonstrate how unique and talented they are, keeping this motto in mind Wittians of Grade V to VII today actively and enthusiastically participated in the Collage Making Activity on the theme “ Royal Heritage of Rajasthan” Students made beautiful collage using their creativity and imagination!!
