Field trip to Hair Salon Jr.Kg [13-14]
FIELD TRIP TO HAIR SALON
The children of Junior KG. were taken
to a field trip on Saturday, 20th of July, 2013 to “Big Boss” Hair
Salon located at Borivali (W).
The children were made to
understand the role played by a hair-dresser (community helper). They were
explained about the different types of hair styles and equipments used by the
hair designers. The stylists gave a practical demonstration by performing a hair
styling technique to one of the client in front of the children.
The children also enjoyed when few of
them got their hair styled in spikes by the designers in the salon.
The children were also shown different
kinds of tattoos available in the salon and they were given temporary ‘WIS’
tattoos on their hands.
The whole experience was great fun for
the children as they were able to see the community helpers practically and
understand the concept in a much better way.
On departure, the hair salon team gave
chocolates to the children as a token of love.
Field trip to Super Market Jr.Kg [13-14]
FIELD TRIP TO THE SUPER-MARKET
The children of Junior KG. were taken to a field
trip on Tuesday, 16th July 2013 to “SPENCERS” Super market located
at Inorbit Shopping Mall at Malad (W).
The children were made to understand the role
played by a grocer (community helper). The children were explained
that all required house-hold items will be available in a super-market and the
same can be purchased. Super-market also have groceries, fruits and vegetables
and the same can be purchased to meet the daily requirements.
Children were explained about the practices of
older times. Around 10 years ago, the concept of super-market was not in place
in our society. During those days there used to be fruit and vegetable markets
and retail stores for groceries and other stationeries in each residential area
from where people used to buy their requirements. The single-roof super-market
system started in our society over the last decade and now it is fast growing
in all major cities. The benefit of super-market is that all our requirements
will be fulfilled under a single-roof.

ARPAN AT WITTY INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL,UDAIPUR
Wittians dedicated a grand show expressing their love and
care towards their Teachers, Parents and Grandparents on the eve of Parents
Day. The programme was hosted by the Principal,Mrs. Shubha Govil. The show commenced with
Saraswati Vandana accompanied by a mesmerizing dance dedicated to Lord Ganesha
. Matru – Pitru pujan added an emotional touch to the environment. Shlokas
dedicated to teachers, a peppy dance Masti Ki Paathshala filled the auditorium
with fun. Students gave a tribute to parents by singing a beautiful song, You
Raise Me Up, a dance Mujhe Maaf Karna, poems dedicated to parents and a
contemporary dance Meri Maa. Students dedicated a poem and a Rap to their
grandparents. The Programme ended with a play Muktidham depicting the
importance of parents in our life. The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Raina
Jain, Director Witty Group of School, Mumbai.
Field Trip to Fire Station (Jr. Kg), WIS Bhilwara 30.07.2013
A fire station is a structure or other area set aside for storage of fire fighting apparatus such as fire engines and related vehicles, personal protective equipment, fire hoses and other specialized equipment. Children of Jr. Kg were amazed to see a fire station. They came to know how fire fighters protect us from fire.

Electronic devices have soared to fame since technological advancement began. Today, electronic gadgets have played a significant role on delivering consumers with compact entertainment and unparalleled communication, especially those devices that can be brought everywhere. The importance of electronics have eventually changed everyone everyday lives.
Students of grade Sr. Kg visited an electronic showroom where they learnt, how the electrical appliances are used in day to day life.

Celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas, WIS Bhilwara
"You have given your blood for our MOTHER INDIA, we will always remember you."
Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated by the students of primary section in honour of the Kargil War heroes and to commemorate the contribution of the Armed forces.
The Kargil War was an armed conflict between India and Pakistan that took place between May and July 1999 in the Kargil district. The cause of the infiltration of Pakistani soldiers and Kashmiri militants into Indian territory along the Line of Control.
Recitation Competition (Grade I to IV), WIS Bhilwara 26.07.2013
Poetry is a form of literary art in which language is used for its aesthetic and evocative qualities in addition to, or in lieu of, its apparent meaning. Poetry recitation prepares a child for public speaking and exposes to the art of presentation. It is also helpful in developing the confidence of an individual, so that stage fear can be removed. Therefore English recitation competition was held for the students of classes I to IV, where the students participated with great enthusiasm.
