Rhyme Enactment -One Two Buckle My Shoe by Nursery Section at Witty World Bangur Nagar (2018-2019)

One, two, buckle my shoe,

Three, four, shut the door,

Five, six, pick up the sticks,

Seven, eight, lay them straight,

Nine, ten, a big fat hen.

Little Wittians of Nursery at Witty World, enacted their favorite rhyme of the month “One, two buckle my shoe” on March 29^th 2019. Recap of Numbers was also done in a unique manner through this rhyme.  All the children participated in this enactment, some being numbers and some being the objects. They were really excited to recreate this familiar rhyme . The excitement in the class was seen throughout the enactment.

Field Trip to Nursery by Sr KG Section at Witty World, Bangur Nagar (2018-2019)

Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn.'

Earth is called The Green Planet due to the presence of plants on it. Without plants, the environment and human life on this earth cannot exist. In order to instill the value of plants and to explain the ongoing Theme –“Green Plants Around Me” a field trip to the Nursery was organized on Friday 29^th March 2019 for the Senior K.G children of Witty World Bangur Nagar.

They were taken to a nearby Nursery where the little ones were shown different types of Plants, explained the various parts of the plants and their uses. They learnt about the different types of flowers. They were also told about the importance of plants in our lives and why we should not cut trees. The trip was a great success and a memorable experience for the little ones.

Field Trip to Zoo by Jr.KG Section (2018-19), Witty World, Goregaon East

On Friday, 29^th March 2019 the children of the Jr. KG section of Witty World Goregaon (East) embarked on a journey to the Byculla, Jijamata Udyaan on a peppy and excited note. The entry was by tickets. The objective to visit the Zoo was to reinforce the concept of animals and birds. It was an interesting sight to see different species of birds and animals. They roared & chirped. It was pleasing indeed to hear them. It was an enjoyable experience for the little ones.

Field Trip to a Garden by Nursery Section (2018-19), Witty World, Goregoan East

To give a hands on experience related to the theme ‘Flowers and Insects’ the little ones of Witty World, Goregaon East Playgroup and Nursery section were taken to Lokmanya Jaiprakash Narayan garden on Thursday, 28^th March, 2019.

The objective of the activity was to reinforce the topic to inculcate the love for the environment and to enjoy the beauty of nature. The students were briefed that the garden has a collection of a range of flowers. Children observed and explored variety of colourful flowers, insects and plants. They were curious to know about the surrounding and were very happy to experience nature so closely along with their friends and teachers. The little learners were responsible and refrained themselves from touching the plants and plucking leaves or flowers. This field trip sensitized the students towards caring for the environment and the importance of planting more trees. Indeed it was a fantastic day out with friends in the garden full of lots of learning.
