A field trip is experiential learning at its best. In accordance with the theme of the month 'Fruits and Vegetables' playgroup students were taken to Reliance Fresh supermarket on Wednesday, 27th September, 2017.

Little Wittians of Playgroup had fun going through the aisles, pointing out and naming their favorite products. In the vegetable and fruit section the children were super excited as they could identify  the different fruits and vegetables on display. It was truly an educational hands on experience for the students.

DUSSHERA CELEBRATION BY NURSERY SECTION AT WITTY WORLD BANGUR NAGAR (2017-2018)

India is called as a land of spiritual country. Every festival in India is celebrated in a unique way. Dusshera and Durgapuja are celebrated all over India. This festival symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.

Little Wittians celebrated Dussehra on Friday 29^th, October 2017 with great zeal and zest. Students came dressed up in colourful & traditional attire. They learned about the festival from poems and songs. They rocked the floor with dandiya beats and garba rounds.

 A short story related to the festival was shown on the LED to children of Playgroup and Nursery. Children of Jr.KG and Sr.KG exhibited their creativity and drew the picture of Ravana in their scrapbook. Children had fun and enjoyed eating traditional sweets to celebrate this auspicious day.

RHYME ENACTMENT CELEBRATION BY NURSERY SECTION AT WITTY WORLD BANGUR NAGAR (2017-2018)

Three little kittens, they lost their mittens

And they began to cry

"Oh, mother dear, we sadly fear our mittens we have lost".

"What! Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!

Then you shall have no pie"

                  

Nursery rhymes can be sung, recited, mimicked, and enacted. On 28^th,   Thursday, September, 2017 children of Nursery section at Witty world enacted the ‘Three Little Kittens’ Rhyme. 

Singing/ enacting nursery rhymes enhances a child's learning ability. Enactment makes the children more confident, and most importantly brings the poem and its characters come alive.

The excitement of dressing the part, and the joy of re-discovering the poem through actions was evident throughout the class!!

Children were very happy to see their friends dressed in different costumes. They did the recap of letter K and number 3 and 6. The toddlers of Nursery also did the recap of opposites happy- sad, dry-wet, with the help of rhyme. These are a few hands on learning experiences for kids which the school strives to provide.

Dandiya Celebration by Grade VI to XII at Witty International School, Udaipur

Colourful and auspicious festival dedicated to Goddess Durga Navrati was celebrated at Witty International School, Sukher. Invoking the blessings of divine deity, the students of Grade VI to XII came dressed in traditional Garba and Dandiya attire.

The students enjoyed the mellifluous music, rhythmic beats and matched the mood of festivity.

The students joy knew no bounds when children from theosophical society entered the campus. With an aim to spread joy and happiness, Wittians made the children feel happy and special by arranging games, dancing and sharing special gifts with them. The entire campus was a huge family tapping their feet to match up the festival spirit. The Principal, Mrs. Shubha Govil vociferously advocated the extreme need to love and respect children from such strata of society, which indeed are a unique creation of God. 

Flight of fantasy by Ms Kalyani Kumawat a Junior Wordsmith

“Dreams are not which we see from open eyes,

Dreams are those which not let you sleep”.

Ms Kalyani Kumawat a student of Grade IX from Bangluru conducted an International session at Witty International School, Udaipur to inculcate reading habits amongst students. She motivated and inspired students to read books imagine and explore the thoughts through writing skills.

She wrote a book named ‘Linan’s Out of This World Adventures’, which was inspired by Harry Potter series and moreover its writer J.K. Rolling.

She entreated students to pursue their dreams incorporating a vision, manifestation allowing their identities to grow and prosper with vast accumulation of knowledge and intellect by developing their reading skills.
