Story Enactment Day by Playgroup Section (2019-20), Witty World, Goregaon East

Enacting stories has a positive influence on children. It helps in mental development and is great for learning. In order to boost confidence in children and develop their enacting skills Witty World, Goregaon East organized a story enactment activity for the little ones of Playgroup section on Tuesday, 30^th July 2019. The children came dressed as the characters of their favourite story “This is the house that Jack build” & “The Ginger Bread Man” and participated whole heartedly by narrating and depicting the same. It was a great exposure and experience for the little ones as they enacted for the first time and it was a great confidence building exercise for them. Chocolate Making Activity by Sr.KG section at Witty World, Chikoowadi (2019-20)

Lots of chocolates,

I love to eat.

To have a yummy treat.

Cooking with children is one of the best ways to make connections across many disciplines. Children love chocolates and what if they prepare on their own and relish its preparation. Wow! It sounds interesting and amazing. Chocolate making activity was organised for Sr.KG children on Wednesday, 24^thJuly,2019. Children learnt the process of chocolate making and the ingredients used in it. Later children along with their teachers made chocolate balls by mixing Chocolate syrup, desiccated coconut as well as Marie biscuits. They enjoyed this unique experience of making and eating in the class with their peers. Children had great fun by involving themselves as “Little Chef’s”.

Field trip to electronic showroom by Sr.KG at Witty World, Udaipur

                  Field Trips are important to help bridge the gap between education and hands-on experience.

On 31st  July 2019, Wittians of Sr.KG at Witty World, Udaipur were taken for a field trip to the ‘Reliance Digital Store’. The store exhibits a wide and latest collection of phenomenal electronics gadgets and household appliances such as, refrigerators, microwaves, washing machines etc. Students were shown different electronic sections and were  introduced to various machines used at home in our daily life, along with their  importance and respective uses. Kids enjoyed watching various gadgets and home appliances and easily related them to their daily routine life. It was an educative and informative field trip.

Eye Check-up Camp for Nursery, Jr KG & Sr KG Section @ Witty World, Chikoowadi (2019-20)

Through our twinkling eyes, we see our magical world.
So that we come to know, where to skip and where to twirl.
So let me check the depth of my tearing pools,
Do they have the sight of an eagle or have to follow the doctor's rules?

Our Eyes are like an Ocean, in which our Dreams are reflected. Good vision is vital for a child who is still learning and growing. Detecting and correcting vision problems early allow child’s learning ability to be unhindered. As vision is closely linked to learning process, an eye examination was conducted for little Wittians in Witty World, Chikoowadi on Tuesday 23^rd July 2019, Wednesday 24^th July 2019, and Thursday 25^th July 2019 respectively.

An eye examination was performed under the supervision of Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav. Doctor educated children on good practices and told them various precautions such as not to watch television from closer distances, not to play with sharp pointed objects such as pencils, scissors and knife. He also provided valuable eye care tips like if some small particles like dust enters into one’s eyes, they should wash their eyes with water instead of rubbing them.

Thus the eye checkup session was very helpful and knowledgeable for children in knowing how to keep their eyes safe and healthy. After the examination, certificate was given to the little wittians.
