WITTIANS ACHIEVEMENTS IN AISSCE 2017

Witty International School feels proud in announcing that the 3rd batch of Grade XII both Science and Commerce have passed out with flying colours in AISSCE, 2017. They have proved with their wonderful result that  organization, time management, prioritization, concentration and motivation are the keys to achieve academic success. 

Congratulations Wittian School topper Bhaskar Tak (XII Science) and Megha Sharma (XII Commerce) for bringing laurels to the school in AISSCE, 2017.

We also congratulate Subject toppers of Grade 12th Sci. Bhaskar Tak Chemistry (95%) Math (93%), Ayushi Kumawat Physics (81%) Physical Education (77%), Burhanuddin Kanorwala  Chemistry (92%) Physics (85%), Anjandeep Singh Gujral English (82%), Megha Sharma Business Studies (77%) Physical Education (72%) Economics (71%),  Ayushi Panwar  Business Studies (73%) Accountancy (65%) Entrepreneurship (68%) and Bhavin Acharya English (82%) in AISSCE, 2017.

Investiture Ceremony and Inter House Dance Competition

The Investiture Ceremony for the student council members was held in the school premises on 11^th May, 2017. It started with the ceremonial March Past, then the council members were conferred with the badges and sashes by the chief guests Mr. Dharun Chand Nagori, Mr. Amrit Kalyani, Dr. Sujan Singh Chhabra, Mrs. Shubha Govil and Dr. Parashar Tyagi. The ceremony was also attended by the parents; they felt proud to witness their ward being honoured. Finally it was concluded by an oath taken by the council members who pledged to uphold the prestige and dignity of the school. Adding colors and placid mood to the Investiture Ceremony an Inter House Group Dance Competition was conducted by the budding Wittians of Grade - VI to VIII. The competition was judged by Mr. Bharat Verma and Ms. Divyani Majumdar. They appreciated an enthusiastic endeavour of the young Wittians and motivated them to shoulder their responsibilities as a true leader.

Water … Water… Everywhere All the drops to play!!!

Anyone who thinks that sunshine is pure happiness,

Has never danced in the rain.

Witty International School, Udaipur organized a Water Play for the young Wittians of Grade-1 and 2 on 8^th and 9^th May,2017.

Little Wittians enjoyed water Play with their peers. School lawn was filled with little kids jumping, splashing and dancing. The best part was water was not wasted but nurtured the grass and plants of the garden in return. It was indeed a day filled with fun and frolic… A Splashy, Splashy Day!!!

“Katha” - Summer Carnival 2016-17 held at Witty World Bangur Nagar

Indian Culture and traditions are something very diverse and unique. With this in view and in consonance with the Theme of the Year – Make in India; Witty World organised ‘KATHA’ - Summer Carnival 2016-17. 

Katha is an amalgamation of Indian folk tales, ranging from desert to forest through various states of India. Keeping this in mind, all activities were related to the folk tales of India, especially the no-fire cooking activities which were carefully selected from different states of India. 

Considering the age groups, the summer camp programme encompassed an array of events like circle time, storytelling, crafts, songs, cooking activities, puppet shows and water play. 

Apart from singing, dancing and playing; the young campers had fun learning experience and enjoyed making new friends. 

On the final day, children came dressed up in traditional Indian attire and enthusiastically walked on the ramp with their favourite soft toy and spoke few lines about their favorite story. 

In a nutshell, children experienced a place that was designed to create happy memories and encouraged them to gain self-confidence as they developed new skills.It was a great event and even more so, were the smiles that they took home!

FUN IN SUN WITH WATER PLAY

For a child, it is more important to feel than to know. On 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th May, 2017 at Witty International School, Udaipur a fun-filled Water Play activity was organized for the pre-school kids. Keeping in mind that Water Play fosters learning in various development areas and also provides opportunities for children to strengthen their physical skills and advance their social and emotional skills.

Little Wittians enjoyed Water Play with their peers. School lawn was filled with little kids jumping, splashing and dancing. Water gave children an avenue to contemplate issues such as: Where does water come from? What makes rain?

Children enjoyed Water Play without wasting water and nurturing the grass and plants of their garden in return.

LEARNING THROUGH ENTERTAINMENT

Media has brought so much entertainment to the kids that we need to scrutinize what best a movie can give to children. Apart from providing entertainment, it enhances vocabulary and communication skills which help children to develop linguistic skills through technology.

On 3^rd, 4^th and 5^th May, 2017 Witty International School, Udaipur organized a movie show (Delhi Safari) for the pre-school kids. As a part of the curriculum, through the movie children learned about moral values like helping, sharing and caring.

Children of Sr.KG at Witty International School, Udaipur enjoyed learning about Rainbow through the activity of “palm printing” with rainbow colors on a chart. They also enjoyed “sequencing and threading the VIBGYOR”, rainbow colors to make a rainbow necklace.
