Three little
kittens, they lost their mittens
And they
began to cry
"Oh,
mother dear, we sadly fear our mittens we have lost".
"What!
Lost your mittens, you naughty kittens!
Then you
shall have no pie"
Nursery
rhymes can be sung, recited, mimicked, and enacted. On 28th, Thursday, September,
2017 children of Nursery section at Witty world enacted the ‘Three Little
Kittens’ Rhyme.
Singing/
enacting nursery rhymes enhances a child's learning ability.
Enactment makes the children more confident, and most importantly
brings the poem and its characters come alive.
The
excitement of dressing the part, and the joy of re-discovering the poem through
actions was evident throughout the class!!
Children were very happy to see their friends
dressed in different costumes. They did the recap of letter K and number 3 and
6. The toddlers of Nursery also did the recap of opposites happy- sad, dry-wet,
with the help of rhyme. These are a few hands on learning experiences for kids
which the school strives to provide.
