Fancy Dress - Nursery (2012-2013)
WIS nursery section had an in-house
event- Fancy Dress, on 2nd February 2013 Saturday. Children came dressed as
flowers, insects, sea-creatures, wild animals, pet animals and birds. All
children participated willingly. Parents were invited to see the fancy dress
show. Children were given biscuits and participation certificates.
Parents and children enjoyed the show.

Republic Day Celebration - PG & Nur (2012-2013)
Republic day was celebrated on Friday, 25th
January 2013 by Playgroup and Nursery section.
All the children came dressed in tricolour
clothes.
Children entered the class with a beautiful
smile on their face.
The school was decorated with flags, posters
of freedom fighters, flowers, map of India.
Children were shown slides of national symbols
like national emblem, national animal, national bird, national flower, national
game. Children danced to the patriotic songs with enthusiasm. Children enjoyed
Republic Day celebrations.

Star Award Ceremony, WIS Bhilwara
A healthy environment plays a very important role in the growth of an
individual. Each individual is born with some skills and abilities. Appreciation
of these abilities motivates an individual to acquire the other qualities which
he or she may not be very good at.
The students are rewarded with Bookmarks for different competencies which are to be redeemed with Stars. The ultimate goal is to earn Bookmarks in all the prescribed competencies to become a WITTIAN STAR. Three students of WIS, Bhilwara earned the prestigious Orange Star on 6th February, 2013.
Visit to Garden, (Nursery) WIS, Bhilwara
A garden is a planned space, usually outdoors, set aside for the
display, cultivation and enjoyment of plants and other forms of nature.
A garden can incorporate both natural and man made material. Children
are natural gardeners who like to play in the dirt and learn by doing.
They see the plants and learn that the plants are of different sizes
and the flowers are the most beautiful part of a plant. They have beautiful colours
and fragrance to attract bees and butterflies.

Recap of Number 9 - Nursery (2012-2013)
Learning through fun
WIS
nursery section had done a recap on number 9 in a fun way, as the motto says, 'Fun while learning'.
To
enhance the concept of number 9 further, the children applied jam on the biscuit and counted nine
gems and placed them on the biscuit which was then relished by the children.
In this
way the children could identify the number through their favourite things which
they could also relish.
