Poem Recitation Activity at WIS, Udaipur

On Thursday, 13 March 2014 little Wittians of Jr.Kg had a Poem Recitation Activity in which they participated with full vigour. They recited their favourite rhymes and came dressed accordingly. Children also used various props like cat, dog, car, magic wand etc. which made the recitation look more attractive. Students recited the rhymes with lot of energy and confidence. It was an excellent learning experience for the little students.

Football! Football! at WIS, Udaipur

Football, Football, everyone follows the herd. Football, Football, Football; or else they would be disturbed. My team have an aim, that they win every game. Little Wittians of Sr.Kg competed in a Football game. They showed their enthusiasm by cheering their peers and enjoyed participating in the Football game.

Fruit Salad Day at WIS, Udaipur

On Tuesday, 11 March 2014, Children of Nursery enjoyed Fruit Salad Day. Children were asked to bring their favourite fruit to share with their friends. The teacher mixed variety of fruits brought by children and prepared a tasty fruit salad. The children enjoyed yummy yummy fruit salad and were curious to know more about fruits. The class was decorated as a Fruit Market where they learnt about various fruits that grow on plants and trees in garden and orchards, and which are relished and savoured in different seasons of the year.

SEMINAR ON TIME MANAGEMENT

Time management is the act or process of planning and exercising conscious control over the amount of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency or productivity.  

To enhance the knowledge of the same, Witty International School, Malad (w), organised a Seminar on Time management. Mrs. Pooja Singh and Mr. Henry Williams were heading the organisation of the program for grade VII.  The seminar was conducted by Mrs. Zeenat Bhagat. All the students of grade VII took the benefit of the seminar which was held on 7^th March 2014. It was a very interactive session. The students took full advantage of the information shared by Mrs. Zeenat. It was more of a brain storming session. Students shared their views. It was a fruitful effort by Mrs. Zeenat which helped in reinforcing the values of excellent time management in an individual in his / her daily life.

Medical check-up at WIS, Udaipur

School Medical Health program is a part of preventive program practiced in School. This program comprises of medical examination of whole body which include ENT checkup. Height, weight, health education and reference for specialized treatment. A medical check-up was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Devendra Sareen(Senior Prof. and Unit Head Dept of Pediatrics  MB hospital) for children of Pre-Primary Section at Witty International School, Udaipur. This program included overall check-up, health education and importance of personal hygiene and awareness regarding cleanliness for the children. The benefit of this program is that it inspires them for better health.

WEEKEND DHAMAAL

It was a weekend of Fun ‘n’ Frolic at Witty World Bangur Nagar – children between 2-5 yrs of age were involved in age appropriate activities like Story telling, Puppet making, Music ‘n’ movement (with live music) on Saturday 8^th March. Sunday morning was Movie Time at Witty World – children clapped, sang, danced and enjoyed the musical, animated classic “Thumbelina”.

In a city, where children are increasingly perceiving malls as the only sources of the entertainment, child specific activity like the “Weekend Dhamaal” at Witty World are indeed a breath of fresh air.

Guest visit by a Gardener at WIS, Udaipur

On Saturday, 8^th March 2014 Children of P.G had a guest visit by a Gardener in the Witty Campus. They enjoyed digging the soil in the pot and scattering the seeds into it, they also enjoyed watering the pot.
