Children of Sr.KG. section were introduced to the beautiful and colorful world of flowers on Thursday, 12 March, 2015. Children brought their own favorite flowers and looked at its different parts. Teacher told them that how flowers bloom, and also about its different parts.

Children were overjoyed when they learnt a new concept of flowers. They were confident enough to describe flowers and also sang rhymes on flowers. 

ntroduction of Peach, Strawberry and Plum (Nursery) on 16.03.2015, WIS, Bhilwara

 The tiny tots of Nursery learnt about the yummie, delicious fruits like peach, strawberry and plum today. They learnt that strawberry is a sweet soft red fruit, which is an excellent source of vitamin- C. They learnt that plum and peach also grow on trees. Plum is a dark red color fruit and peach is orange in color. Peach has one seed. They did the strawberry, plum and peach art sheet activity. They recognized the shape, color and taste of fruits. This activity was a great fun learning experience for kids.

Show and Tell Activity on Flowers by Sr.KG at WIS, Udaipur

I am a little flower,

Mom put me out,

If you take care of me , 

I will sprout.

When you water me, I will grow

Into a pretty flower, don’t you know.

Little Wittians of Sr.KG enjoyed Show & Tell Activity, they enthusiastically participated in the activity. They brought scrapbook prepared by them on theme flowers. They described & spoke few lines on the theme. 

Introduction Of Mango and Chickoo (Nursery) on 10.03.2015, WIS, Bhilwara

Children like to eat fruits. Mango is the favourite fruit of all the children. The tiny tots of Nursery learnt about mango and chickoo today. They learnt mango is a sweet juicy fruit. It is found in yellow, orange, red or green color. The learnt chickooes are found in round and oval shape, inside chickoo there are 4-5 seeds of black color. They made the mango and chickoo crown and wore it. They relished the two fruits and recognized the shape, color and taste of the two fruits. The activity was a great fun and a unique learning experience for kids.

Talent Hunt Activity of Grade -2 at WIS, Udaipur

The pedagogy of WIS is that each child is unique and has infinite possibilities. In order to bring out the talents of the students, WIS organised a Talent Hunt Activity on March 12,2015 where all the students of Grade  2^nd participated enthusiastically. The performance of students in various genres like dance ,song , shloka recitation and mimicry enthralled the audience. Students came up with enthusiasm and showcased their hidden talents and the audience also enjoyed the performances to the fullest!!

Picnic To Jijamata Udyan:Sr.KG section (2014-15) WIS and Witty World

On Saturday, 14^th March 2015 the children of the Sr. KG section of Witty International school embarked on a journey to the Byculla, Jijamata Udyaan on a peppy and excited note. The little ones were able to watch the different species of migratory birds as well as animals in their enclosures at the zoo. There was excitement, laughter and curiosity in the minds of the children as they thoroughly enjoyed the unique and fun experience of being in a zoo. The picnic cum field trip proved to be a learn with fun opportunity for the children where they got to experience the perfect combination of  nature and wildlife,all at the same place.

FRUIT SALAD DAY NURSERY WIS [MALAD]

To inculcate healthy eating habits among the Kindergarten students, “Fruit Salad Day” was organised on Friday, 13 March 2015. It was an occasion to educate the children about the necessity and goodness of eating fruits. To strengthen this awareness, the little Wittians brought one of their favourite fruit in their tiffin. Teachers explained them the different stages of making fruit salad. To make the occasion participatory, the children made fruit salad with the help of the teacher. It was an educative day for the children to learn about the benefits of eating fruits.

To jump around and run

I cannot name just one and
To me they're so much fun!

Eating fruits in the the form of fruit salad is so much fun for Kids. The only thing that can be even more exciting is making the fruit salad. The children enjoyed mixing up the cut fruits and putting them together.They felt the texture of different fruits, and the class was filled with a fruity aroma. The different colours combined to form such a mouth watering delicacy. They then ate this fruit salad and enjoyed the fusion of taste. This cooking experience was not just about cooking but it was a delightfully sensorial experience, and a great way of learning too!!!
