Dandiya Raas by Pre-Primary Section (2021-22), Witty World, Goregaon East.

 

The holy festival of ‘Navratri’ is considered to be extremely auspicious as this is the time when all the divine forces are at their highest level of percipience, ending with Dussehra which is celebrated to mark Lord Rama's victory over Ravana.

Reinforcing the message that good always triumphs over evil, Navratri and Dussehra Celebration was held at Witty World, for Nursery, Jr.KG and Sr.KG with utmost zeal and enthusiasm  on 9th October 2021. Teachers welcomed students along with their parents to school for the celebration.

Children and their parents were dressed in colourful, ethnic wear.

They were happy to be in school after a long break with full precaution and protocols in place they enjoyed dancing on music and had lots of fun. It was truly a colourful and a fun filled day with fond memories.

Janmashtami Celebration, Primary Section, IGCSE, WIS PB (2021-22)

Janmashtami, the birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated with great fervour and heightened spirits. To understand the importance of Indian traditions, Special Assembly on Janmashtami was held by the students of Primary Section, Witty International School, PB on Monday, 30th August 2021.

The assembly started with skits depicting Lord Krishna’s journey which was enjoyed by all. Mesmerizing dance performances raised the spirits high of this festivity. The celebration was truly entertaining and educating. Just like the life of Lord Krishna, the day was full of colours, music and enjoyment. 

Raksham Poster Making Competition, Primary Section, IGCSE, WIS PB (2021-22)

 At Witty International School, PB, we always aim at instilling cultural values in our children. Students of Primary Section, participated in the ‘Raksham Poster Making Competition’ and card making activity on Friday, 20^th August 2021 with great zeal and enthusiasm.

This virtual celebration was with a twist as ‘Raksham’ is the collaboration of ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and ‘Onam’. Wittians of Grade 4 and 5 expressed the main idea behind these festivals in artistic ways. It was a marvellous projection of both the festivals through beautiful posters.
