Navratri is the celebration of good over evil. This festival coincides with the end of the rainy season and is considered to be auspicious one. It is generally associated with the sowing of seeds and watching new seeds sprout which is a sign of prosperity and well being of the mortals. Navratri is celebrated in almost every region of India. The supreme power of Goddess Durga is worshipped and the blessings for success and prosperity is sought.
Students of Witty International School celebrated Navratri Festival by performing Dandiya Raas and Garba Raas to the tunes of their favourite beats. Students wore the most colourful and traditional attire. All the students enjoyed dancing on the occassion to the hilt. They were seen moving to a fusion of beats from the traditional to the very contemporary.
