Janmashtmi, the birthday of Lord Krishna is celebrated
across different parts of India and the world with fun and fervor. The merry
making is marked by colorful cultural programmes and pooja. The same was done
by the little wittians of the Pre Primary section who celebrated Janmashtmi
with full zeal & enthusiasm. They came dressed in beautiful traditional
clothes as Krishna and Radha. On this day, the school stage was decorated with
pots and flutes. Each and every child of the Pre Primary participated in the
celebration by dancing on various Ras Leela songs. The tempo rose high giving a
befitting end to the programme by the breaking of Dahi Handi and with the
echoes of “Haathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanyalal Ki” overall the celebration was a
grand success and was enjoyed by everyone.
