HINDI
DIVAS
On
14th September,1949,the Constituent Assembly of India unanimously resolved
that Hindi would be the national language of India. Hindi has also been
recognised as one of the seven heritage languages of UNESCO.
Students
of Primary Section (Grade I – IV) celebrated Hindi Divas – ‘Darpan’ by
showcasing their love for Hindi language through poetry recitation on the theme
of the year, ‘Haar Nahi Hoti’, storytelling and handwriting competitions organized
in the school premises. The celebration took place to mark the significance and
importance of Hindi as our National language. A thought for the day and
quotations were displayed in Hindi on each floor. Special Assembly in Hindi was
held to mark the spirit of the day.
Participant
certificate was issued to the participants. Winners were awarded the
certificate of achievement.
