Hexagon
Day
Introducing shapes plays an important part in
the early stages of math education. Learning shapes is one of the goals of the
pre-school curriculum.WIS Nursery section celebrated 'Hexagon Day'
on Tuesday, 16th October 2012. Teacher decorated the class with hexagon shaped
streamers and teacher narrated the story of Hexagon shape with the help of
flashcards. Children were shown different objects of hexagon shape. Children
drew hexagon shape in the air with their fingers.
