Primary Section organized an interactive session on ‘Safe and Unsafe Touch’, conducted
by the volunteers of CHILDLINE, a nodal agency engaged in monitoring the
welfare of children, for the students of Grade II – IV from Wednesday, 31st October to Saturday, 3rd November,
2012 during school hours.
CHILDLINE India Foundation (CIF) runs the national tele - outreach service 1098 for children in need of care and protection. Supported by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, CHILDLINE is a nationwide emergency helpline for children.
The focus of the session was to make the children aware about safe touch, unsafe touch and personal safety rules through a story telling exercise. Children participated in these sessions enthusiastically, which ensured that children are sensitized about Safe and Unsafe touch.
