Word Ozone Protection Day -Act or be acted upon! (WIS, Udaipur)

Today is International Day for Preservation of Ozone layer. Ozone layer protects earthly beings from very harmful UV radiation. UV radiation can do permanent damage to humans, animals, vegetation and water bodies. Unfortunately, Ozone layer is depleting because of Chloro fluro carbons (CFC). In order to preserve Ozone layer, today we should take a pledge to use Ozone friendly appliances. Ozone layer is the Earth's protective layer. Let's save it to save life. We have to act and take initiative; otherwise we will become victims and be acted upon. We have a choice!
